Absolutely amazing place and delicious food. Me and my husband stopped by here to grab a bite and now we’re adding it to our favorite places to eat! The atmosphere is amazing and homey and the food is insanely good. It’s all very fresh and you could tell it’s home made. The prices are very reasonable too. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

I had the lamb gyro here recently, and I’m still thinking about it. It was absolutely incredible packed to the gills with tender, flavorful lamb, crisp fresh vegetables, and finished off with a generous drizzle of creamy, tangy tzatziki sauce. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and you could taste the care and quality that went into making it.
The owner told me he’s been in business for 31 years, and honestly, if that doesn’t speak volumes about the consistency and love behind this place, I don’t know what does. It’s the kind of food that feels both nostalgic and next-level like it’s been perfected over decades.
I’ll definitely be back. If you’re on the fence about trying it, take my word for it: you won’t be disappointed!

This is one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve ever been to. The chicken was out of this world. I got the calamari, but I would I would skip it. I love calamari though. The owner was very nice. I will be back here again

I’ve spent my whole life driving by this place thinking it was abandoned and I am thrilled to say it is not and it is very much so a thriving restaurant! I walked in and was greeted by the cook who I believe is the owner and he waited on us and was so sweet. It made me feel like I was dining in someone’s home. Definitely authentic, cannot wait to go back! Don’t let the outside deter you, it’s a hidden gem!!

Huge miss. I ordered here based on its rating and proximity to my house. The person I dealt with was really nice and the order was ready on time, so I have no complaints regarding that. It should be noted that on a Friday @ 5:30pm, it was the only order they were making. The place was completely empty and only one person was working. As for the food…… it was horrible ($100 worth). All the kabobs were dry and rubbery. Everything else was purchased pre-made and not good at all. The falafel was gritty and mass produced, as was the hummus. It’s easy to tell because of the overpowering taste of citric acid which is used as a preservative for packaged hummus. I was really looking forward to this place, in hopes that I would find a new Mediterranean place to frequent, but I will not be going back. Thirty minutes into my meal, my son and I were overcome with a feeling of indignation and heartburn. So at that point, we called it quits. As I was throwing my food away, all of my criticisms were confirmed when I noticed that the box which was used to package my order was the box that their pre-made falafel comes in. I wish them well, but I think they need to change how they do things in order to succeed. But taste is also highly subjective, so maybe they have a customer base that likes their stuff. Idk ♂️

When it comes to Mediterranean / Turkish food I’m legitimately questioning if I’ve ever had any as good as what I just had tonight at Sofra. Every dish was what I wanted it to be. Every part of the cold appetizer platter was perfect. The hummus was the best hummus. The eggplant was addictive. The crushed veggies were delicious.
And then my grilled chicken combo came out and it was all awesome. I’ve been to places with similar cuisine and I’ve enjoyed it, but I’ve never really been blown away. I’ll get all excited by the sight of meats on long skewers or delicious looking dips only to eat them and think, “Yeah that’s pretty good, but I don’t think I’d pay for it again.”
But at Sofra it was like someone finally got things right. It not only looked beautiful, but the food tasted as seasoned as delicious as I’d always wanted this type of cuisine to be.
It it a little pricey? Yes. Normally I’m cheap as hell and would write a place off if the food was more than I wanted to pay on a night out, but this food was so good that I already know for a fact I’ll be back. It’s worth it.
If you get the app platter maybe split it with three of four people instead of two. We were stuffed. Go give them your business because we all know the location is a TOUGH one. Only one side of the street can turn in and it’s easy not to notice it there as you zoom by on 13. But you should really go there like… today.

You have to love authentic food and atmosphere. This is not the big chain type with fancy new vibe but their food is very good and the people are very nice. I hadn’t had good Turkish coffee since my Dad made it decade’s ago. We’ve eaten there and have ordered out. Plenty of options to choose from for anyone, even picky kids. Plan for extra time because they cook on order and it’s one person. Ordering online via an app might be a good choice if you’re not up to waiting or order ahead, if they take it over the phone (I haven’t tried that yet).

The food is fresh and the owner is very polite! Lentil soup very flavorful, fish was flaky and moist, lamb rack tender. Lamb and chicken cubes were well done, slightly dry, good with lemon. The rice pilaf was perfectly made and the mixed salad crisp. My dad’s favorite place to eat. Great back room for a party of up to 30 people. BYOB. Free parking lot at the place.
