Great place to dock up your boat for a beverage and some good food. Beware, in my experience, stopping for just one beverage isn’t really possible.

It had been awhile since I had visited this iconic Tichigan Bar. And much has changed since my last visit. It is now a VFW POST and the patrons were an older crowd. Drink prices were very reasonable but the menu showed that food pricing had increased and seemed a bit higher than I was comfortable paying. Canoe and Kayaks are available for rent through a partnering business.

Service was good and bartenders were nice, however, when we walked in we were surprised to see everyone smoking. There were tons of doors everywhere but not of them open even though it was over 60 degrees outside. We were there to celebrate someones birthday. We opened a door near us that was by our group and a person from the bar came over and rudely closed the door and walked away like she owned the place. She didn’t. They were chain smoking next to us. I thought that it was against the law to smoke in a closed building or bar. You can have a million doors and windows, but if you aren’t allowed to open them, then they really aren’t doors and windows.?We are visiting here, and have really never witnessed such rude, inappropriate behavior in all of our life. What inconsiderate people! What a horrible environment…..Won’t ever go there again!

Went with a group 14 people. Last couple got there food an hour and 45 mins after order was placed. That is way too long to wait for a burger and fries. If your not able to accommodate more then one order at a time you should tell people that right from the start.

It was great atmosphere but the Juke box way too expensive… Another bar was perfect ( What About Linda’s) plus the Tequilla shots weren’t outrageous we got our moneys worth.
