I just got home from going to the restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service was the absolute best. Everyone was so attentive. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We ordered the burrata, Cesar salad, gnocchi with pesto, and rigatoni with white clam. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. As someone with allergies and intolerances to food the entire staff paid attention to details when it came to what my needs were. The owner is so nice and polite as well. The PB&J dessert drink is also delicious!! I recommend this place to anyone looking for an intimate unique spot or just a fun girls night out.

Great local restaurant. Owner/manager is extremely nice, staff is helpful and takes care of you wants you to have a nice experience. Great atmosphere with a lounge vibe and good background music. Food is good with some nice innovative twists, big shout out to the gorgonzola calamari and truffle butter burratta. They also make great cocktails and a perfect dirty martini. Only negative is the space size, its pretty teeny and cramped, hostess is in an awkward spot away from the front door, and valet doesn’t really valet just hands you your keys.

Food was delish!
Music was a bit too loud but was a good vibe in general.
Bartender was great, drinks were good. Owner is super friendly and attentive.
Waiter was most definitely on something. While he got our order right, he was jittery, a bit aggressive with taking our order, disappearing a few times etc. He was just not all there and off.

I can’t stress enough how much I love this place last night was my second time dining here. Fresh pasta is my go too and this place makes it so perfectly soft and delicious. The menu breaks every dish down 100% and the waiters are very friendly and polite helped me figure out the best dish based on my dietary restrictions. The owner is also very friendly and helpful walked in last night around 7 no reservation, just got home from a long vacation and was craving some New York fresh made pasta. I got sat right away but definitely DO recommend a reservation for a Saturday in general they were super busy by 8pm. The portion size is perfect even a little on the larger side but it’s so good I finish it 100% anyway lol well worth the money (which for homemade pasta average $30 a dish is not bad at all) anyway being that I live close by I will be going back again!

Had an amazing girls night at this spot. The ambiance is moody, sexy, and chic with black and gold touches that make it feel like a hidden NYC lounge right in Wantagh. The owner was incredibly warm and checked in on us multiple times, and our waitress was so attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious. We were obsessed with the wontons and the gnocchi Milanese. Drinks were strong and well made, and the playlist sealed the vibe with the best 90s and 2000s hip hop and R&B. The energy, the atmosphere, and the décor were all on point.

It’s cute, cozy, and perfect for a girls night, a date night, or even just drinks and apps. We will definitely be back

Been looking forward to trying and i enjoyed almost everything, just a few issues that bothered me. Our table, along with the one next two us were extremely wobbly the second we sat down, the couple next to us fixed there themselves, while an employee noticed ours and fixed it, with there website says, “Upscale Manhattan Esque Atmosphere”, wobbly tables should be noticed before your first service. Next, we order drinks, I order the Pinkeys Up, a martini with caviar stuffed olives, waitress come back to say they are out of caviar, one and a half hours after they open, on a weekend, they are already out of ingredients. Ok, things happen, I get it, they offer bluecheese stuffed olives, I accept, they didn’t taste like they were stuffed in house, tased like jarred olives, again, not really a big deal, but they are trying to go for a Upscale Manhattan Atmosphere, and a martini with chunks of ice isnt a well made martini. Im no snob, im not even holding this against them, but I expected a bit better. The waitress and staff were excellent, polite, and helpful, but it seemed like our waitress was the only waitress, again she was wonderful, but we had empty cocktails for a bit before they looked to offer more, she seemed so busy we passed on desert and desert cocktails cause we felt it would take too long to get them. When I asked for the check, it took almost 15 minutes to get it. I had to get up at one point to look for someone to ask, believe it or not, there wasn’t one employee on the floor when I got up, bartender, waitress, busboy nothing. The place was packed. The food was amazing. Really was great food. Only food issue, that we didn’t even mind, but would of been nice to be told, was that the Crispy Rice appetizer is spicy, spicy sauce and a chili pepper on top. I would definitely go back and try again. In no way do I want to deter anyone from going, just want to share my first time experience. I expected a little better.

Cibo is a gem, one of the best ambiance and vibes on the island! With an incredible menu illuminated by service that truly embodies hospitality and culture. The upbeat, yet authentic experience truly gives a peek at NYC. To boot, Anthony creates a unique table-to-table level of appreciation, enveloped by the best playlist I’ve heard in a restaurant this year.
