First of all the food don’t look like the picture. I want a yellow rice whatever it was called. I didn’t get it. The food had no flavor. It wasn’t even spicyhot. I’d love hot spicy. The sauce taste like something that was Indian Chinese. The sauce gravy was runny never in an Indian food. Do they prepare Ronnie gravy or sauce? It was full of sugar probably MSG. This was a horrible meal.

Guys, do give this food place a try if you like trying different cuisines. Worth every penny. More than the food and drinks (which are amazing), I liked how the staff treated their customers. I went with friends, and they gave some amazing recommendations, even when the restaurant was pretty full. Also They have beautiful and quirky backgrounds, especially when it comes to clicking pictures. The food and beverages are click-worthy. If you’re looking for an Instagram-aesthetic place, do go here.

We got the lamb biryani, Karahi chicken, and garlic naan, and it was all delicious! The portions are generous, and really well priced. Highly recommend this place! Sunday afternoons are a good time to go, it wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away.

The girlfriend and I have made it a mission to try every Indian restaurant in the Yuba Sutter area. With such a large Indian community here, we’re blessed with plenty of great options, so we were excited to finally check Lakeside Indian Cuisine off our list.
The first thing we noticed was the pricing, noticeably higher than other local spots, in some cases nearly double. We figured maybe the food or service would justify it, so we went in with an open mind.
When we sat down, however, the waitress kept steering us toward different (and pricier) items, almost like a car salesperson trying to upsell. It felt a little pushy. In the end, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Shahi Paneer with a garlic naan, plus samosas and Paneer Pakora on the side.
The samosas ended up being the highlight of the meal, crisp, flavorful, and paired with some of the best chutneys I’ve ever had. The Paneer Pakora was different from what we’re used to but still decent, while the naan came out a little dry. Unfortunately, both the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shahi Paneer were swimming in oil, more than the usual richness you expect with these dishes, to the point where it was a bit hard to enjoy.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t really win us over either. We didn’t hate it, but we didn’t love it. We’ll probably give it another shot down the line and update our thoughts if things improve.

The food was delicious and they accommodated our vegetarian and vegan diets with no problem. The service was spectacular as we were given the best experience we could ask for. I have tried Indian food but it was my first time at an Indian restaurant. They were able to make the dishes mild. We enjoyed the music selection and even asked them to turn it up for us! We will definitely be back.

Service was excellent they weren’t that full and they should be the food was great. The stop light was out on B Street, no green arrow* As good as the offerings in Yuba City for Indian food, I was quite impressed. Support our local business!

Lakeside Indian Cuisine Bar and Grill offers an exceptional dining experience. The chicken tikka masala is a standout dish, bursting with flavor, while the coconut chicken being equally as good. For dessert, the gulab jamun—spongy homemade cheese balls soaked in honey rose syrup—was a unique and delicious finish to our meal. The service was attentive and friendly, making for a pleasant evening. Don’t miss the garlic naan; it’s the perfect accompaniment to the rich dishes. Highly recommended!

Prawns not deveined. We got the shrimp curry and husband counted we got 5 shrimp in it whereas we would’ve hoped to get 7-8 for a $17 dish.
Outdoor seating
Between 2 people we were full off the shrimp curry + cilantro naan + roti.
BTW the roti was not the sweet soft kind. It actually looked just like the naan.

Amazing! The owner was so nice & his passion for quality shows in his food. The Butter Chicken is outstanding, the sauce is so velvety & rich. The Fish Pakora was delightfully crisp, a touch spicy & the sauces that accompanied it were delicious. Will definitely be back, can’t wait!! Thank you for bringing your restaurant to Marysville!

3-4 days old vegetable pakode. Lemon chicken is tasteless as they boiled in just water with no salt or seasoning. Their butter chicken was also tasteless. They were great when they first opened and had food a few times from them but Not sure what happened but the food is just tasteless. Lemon chicken 5 piece of chicken and rest full with gravy. Butter chicken hardly had any piece of chicken.
