My original post was on 2/3/26 regarding the birthday cake they messed up. I copied and deleted the old so they would see the new part after they responded.

(2/3/26) My husband ordered a cake for my birthday. He asked for extra crunchies. They changed $13 extra for extra crunchies in an 8″ cake, then put extra fudge instead of extra crunchies. Also, the cake looked bad. They did even smooth the top before they decorated it. Thanks for ruining my birthday. I will be contacting corporate.

The owners responded saying they hoped we would give them another chance without even offering a refund or replacement (that would not be an option now) their over priced screw up.

NO WE WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE WHEH YOU WON’T EVEN OFFER TO FIX YOUR MISTAKE. YOU OVERCHARGED US AND MADE THE CAKE INCORRECTLY. EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID THIS DQ. AS YOU CAN SEE BY THEIR RESPONSE TO ME, THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES, BUT EXPECT ME TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE LIKE SAYING SORRY ONLINE FIXES THINGS.

I’m half way to finishing this #1 combo chicken burger that I ordered just a while ago (around 12n today) and I saw this moldy bun. Means, they are not aware or even looking and check the foods before handing it to the customer. Very sad.

​1/5 Stars: Complete disconnect between promise and delivery.
​While the food itself was acceptable, the service completely failed. We received our meals but had to separately request our drinks, only to be met with an inexplicably rude and attitude-filled response from the worker. I noted the poster on the door listing 6-7 things the establishment promises to do for its customers; unfortunately, zero of these standards were met during our experience. This level of service is unacceptable, and we will not be back.

Great customer service! I have an allergy and they took it with caution and I really appreciate it. They don’t have many options as they used to but there still is a lot to choose from. The hot fudge sundae is the best!!

Edit: Credit where credit is due, after submitting a complaint, their team did reach out and offer to replace the entire order free of charge as an apology.

Slow.

Unbearably, unbelievably slow. I’ve had faster service in packed, sit down restaurants than at this location with 5 cars in the drive thru. There’s a much better location a few miles away on Illinois road, just go there instead honestly.

I have never waited so long for “fast food”. I was there for 40 minutes! I believe this due to understaffing, but I am not sure what too so long as the fries did not seem fresh.

Absolutely worst customer service of any Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. I walked in and made eye contact with the woman at the counter. She didn’t smile or say hello back. She turned around and continued to clean the ice cream machine with her back to me. I picked out an ice cream cake from the freezer and set it on the counter waiting to be helped. She continued to ignore me, never once saying “I’ll be right with you”. Nothing. She walked to the other side and did something else. Walked back to the ice cream machine continued to clean it. I walked out leaving the cake on the counter. Rude.

i just wanted a small oreo blizzard with extra oreo and what they did was throw the ice cream in and put the oreo on top and didn’t even bother to mix it. PLUS ice cream was all over the cup, she didn’t bother to wipe it off.

The drive through worker Brooklyn S. Was very rude and rushing, slammed the window , didn’t get my order right. If I’m paying $7 dollars almost for a blizzard at least be kind , I understand your pregnant may not like your job etc, but that’s not Dairy Queen’s fault or their customers , you never know what the next person is going through in life. Someone could’ve just lost a loved one or got bad news . You will not get far in life with that horrible attitude. Praying for you
