We are a local artisan bakery that specializes in sourdough breads specifically as well as yeasted breads. We use local and regionally sourced ingredients. We ferment our doughs for long periods of time in order to unlock the nutritional value of wheat so your body can utilize it as well as reduce the amount of gluten left over after baking and it also is better for pre-diabetics as the glycemic index is far lower on sourdough breads. We DO NOT USE CHEMICALS OR DOUGH CONDITIONERS in any of our products ever. We also do wholesale baking for many restaurants and businesses here in Colorado Springs.

Been hearing about this place for years but since it’s a little out of my way I’ve never made it in until today. My 30th birthday is coming up in a couple of days and as a sourdough lover I wanted to get a nice loaf for dipping into cheese fondue for the event. I woke up early so I could get there before work and I love how the bakery was easy to find in a small shopping center with local businesses, but away from the main busy shppping centers in town. I was greeted and explained all the differences and options they had. They do have tons of options and everything is fresh. Employees were engaged and happy to help and chat! When they mentioned the super sour dough and that they had samples I knew I had to try it and I fell in love. If you like sourdough this is the place for you, if you like REALLY sourdough, they have that too! They take cash and card. I felt the prices were reasonable for the product. I will definitely be coming back for all my fresh bread needs (camping, holidays, special events, etc.) Now that I’ve been there and know where it is, it’s not too much of a hassle to make the 10 minute trip for amazing bread.

I’ve had their Sourdough bread and won’t buy it anywhere else now! Ink a fairly new customer and tried their pizza yesterday afternoon. Holy cow! It was literally the best pizza I’ve ever had! The crust and sauce was perfect! The cheese blend was so good! It’ll be at least 5 + meals.
The staffs had always been friendly and will go out of their way to help you.

Delicious sandwiches and the clam chowder was outstanding. It’s expensive but high quality and very good ingredients, as well as delicious gold peak iced tea. The cookies are also very good. The sizes are actually more filling than they sound – I had the 4″ Italian and it was a generous sized sandwich and plenty of food.

Calling all bread lovers Everything in here is absolutely amazing—you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! So far, my favorite treat has been the ginger cookie, but the pumpkin cinnamon roll is also delicious, and the bread is so fresh and tasty. The pizzas looked incredible, and I’m excited to come back and try one soon, especially with their Monday deal on small pizzas! The owner was very kind, and the lady at the counter was super knowledgeable and helpful. I’ll definitely be a regular here. Highly recommend! I can’t wait to visit the vendor market this weekend. They have a half off table in their bakery. All the prices were very reasonable. I love that you can get small loafs to try new flavors.

Walk in and smell the love that goes into the products in this bakery! I was completely impressed by the variety of different breads, sweet treats and misc goodies available in the store! I was privileged to try their blueberry coffee cake and it was a heavenly addition to my morning! I would love to see their bread in more businesses around the city – they offer whole sale and I was busy imagining the flavor combinations that could be created across the city/state in different pubs, cafe’s, lunch hotspots… So many sandwiches could be made better with this amazing, local bread!!! Good job Shawn and Team! You’re Best of the Springs for a reason! You even have me dreaming of how I can try to make a loaf myself! INSPIRATIONS!

Just look at this pizza! I pick up several loaves of bread and pastries almost every week and my entire family loves everything I bring home. My kids especially love the soft pretzels, and the stollen at Christmas is legendary.
You can order a build-your-own pizza and pick it up right away. I love pizza but as a vegan I’ve had a hard time finding really outstanding pizza anywhere. But look at this bubbly, soft/crisp marvel! I chose Brussels sprouts, mushrooms and pesto today, but their topping options are endless! The crust is phenomenal.
From time to time they have a very calm, sweet doggie greeting visitors.

Delicious bread!!! Reasonable prices for artisan bread. Only thing is that the lighting its a bit dim and can’t sit to enjoy your bread immediately. Its more of a “but and go” establishment but the man at the counter was very nice. Can’t wait to share this place with my friends and family.

First time visiting on 10/20. There was some sort of an event in the parking lot, so the store was busy and the atmosphere wasn’t that inviting. Therefore, I didn’t stay long.
I did purchase a pack of jalapeño cheddar bagels and cheese crackers. The cheese crackers don’t have the crunch of store bought cheese-its but taste good. I toasted the bagel and had it with cream cheese and really enjoyed it!
I would visit again, maybe on a weekday, to see what other items are sold. Four stars because the associates weren’t friendly and mostly focused on tasks/clearing customers from the counter.
