Ordered from this place tonight. Specificity ordered my husband an Italian with no tomato as he is allergic to tomatoes. They sent a burned hoagie covered in tomatoes. Mistakes happen right? Just give them a call, we didn’t want a replacement, just the hoagie refunded. No. What they wanted to do was refund my entire order, then recharge me. My order came to over $80 & the “refund time is up to the bank” so I would have to pay twice for a BURNED SANDWICH COVERED IN SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE KILLED MY HUSAND and hope the OG $80 refund came though. They have no way to simply refund the hoagie price, you have to pay them twice. (S.U.B.S) This is clearly a “policy” designed so they can screw up all they want & and the customer pays for it. Do not give them your business.

Not from Pittsburgh, but think I’m going to be spending more time there in the future. One look at me and it’s clear I’ve eaten my share of pizza. Had Franks last night and it was among the best I’ve ever had. Even better was the service, professionalism, and the way they do business. Outstanding experience. Frank’s is a casual pizza restaurant. I ordered jalapeno poppers, Frankie boneless chicken bites, chicken wings, broasted chicken, an Italian hoagie, a ham and cheese hoagie, and a Pepsi. The food was ready for pickup within an hour. The chicken had juicy meat and crispy breading, and the hoagies had toasted bread and flavorful fillings. Update: A few weeks after my first order, I placed a second order, which was also for pickup. I again ordered the broasted chicken, which was juicy and had a wonderfully salty flavor. I also ordered two small pizzas, which had gooey cheese and fresh toppings, but could have been sliced better.

Frank’s is a local pizza chain with a few locations around the ‘Burgh. They are family owned according to their website. Frank’s is best known for their chicken, and so I wanted to try an item that featured it. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is pretty famous, so I tried the “great white Buffalo” pizza.

For a place that is very well known for this type of pizza, I wasn’t particularly impressed. It wasn’t bad, but nothing really stood out as spectacular. I will say that the deal was pretty reasonable for a somewhat large-sized personal pie (10″, but it felt like it was more).

The ranch was quite tasty, and they do give it to you for free with any order to my knowledge. They say its homemade as well. The crust for the pizza was somewhat standard, a bit greasy, not bad. Thicker crust than I’d like. The Buffalo sauce had a good amount of kick to it, but nothing too exciting. The chicken was breaded and on the oily side.

All in all, the pizza was nothing special. I expected more for a place known for chicken, especially chicken pizzas. But, it wasn’t terrible, and the price was pretty cheap for a decent portion.

Received a text my order was on the way at 6:46pm. I literally live 3 minutes from the shop and the food arrived at 7:20pm. I ordered a small pizza, breaded mushrooms and side and salad. The food was cold and the salad was supposed to have red onion, cucumbers, green pepper and black olives. I received a container of lettuce, a few pieces of white onion and green peppers. No cucumbers or black olives. Wasted $25 on the food!
