Simply perfect. Every time I’ve been here all of the food is exquisite, the service is incredible and it is the most authentic you’ll ever find. I always get street tacos which are honestly too affordable, I typically pickup and the food is always hot and ready within 10 minutes of ordering and the only problem I have is that I dont get out there enough, and I typically go at least once a week. Market next door is also an amazing find so stop in! Thank you so much for everything you do!

Ordered my dinner via DoorDash for pick up. Arrived at the restaurant and was told by the staff that my order was already picked up by someone else. The staff proceeded to walk away. After I stood there for approximately 10 minutes I spoke with one of the staff members and explained the situation. I was told that I would need to contact DoorDash about the issue and did not offer any further assistance.
This business leaves takeout orders on the front counter and a tablet with all the orders information visible to all patrons. I understand that it was not the restaurant’s fault that someone had stolen my order, but to not offer any further assistance was unacceptable.

Had the sopen, they were probably an 8 in taste and a 6 in presentation. Then had the tacos de carne asada, 9 taste and 9 presentation. I was in town for work 3 days, came everyday. It’s a dive place, and I love it.

Update! Not so Amazing!
So, my first visit I got a soup to go because it looked good. What I got was a cup full of broth w a carrot, one potato and a chunk of meat. It was less than half the stuff in the dining room version.
But the icing on the cake, I went back today and showed them a pic of the lousy soup. They made no effort to make it right and charged full price for my item today.
Not a great way to do business! I try to support the little guys but dont rip off customers, please.

for delicious, authentic tacos in akron: look no further. in AKRON! I love it.
i wish i could have tried more food there because everything was wonderful. we only got around to tacos. standouts for us we’re the pastor and birria tacos. my husband enjoyed his carnitas and the shrimp was overwhelmed by the onions. asada was also absolutely delicious.

Look at these pictures and just take my word for the fact that this dish alone has a taste easily three times more amazing then the pictures look incredible! Tell them Mateo the gringos sent you! They know the tacos are my favorite and you can see that. However, the flavor from this dish and all others they serve stand apart from any other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in the United States. Baja Fresh, Tres Amigos, Taqueria, it doesn’t matter how they spin the name oh, I’ll be back!
