Love this place, sandwiches are amazing- i love the El Paso and the variety of chips and drinks to choose from! Staff is always welcoming and so friendly, always clean and a treat for any day. Was here a few months back and absolutely loved finally coming in to see what it was all about. It has such a homey feel, the feels I would feel as a little girl going into shops with my mom. A feel that is missing in so many other places. We tried the cookies, bread, when my daughter saw deviled eggs, SOLD. And so many other items called to us to want to try later.
You can tell they love their respectful customers and you can most definitely feel the love they have for their business. If you don’t feel it when you are there, you’ll feel it in the food they make.

Mercantile 1887 is truly one of my favorite places!
The staff here are some of the hardest working people I’ve seen always friendly, helpful, and going above and beyond to take care of their customers. I especially love that they offer a pre-order service for their pies. It’s so convenient and takes all the stress out of wondering if I’ll be able to get one. I never have to worry about missing out on one of their amazing pies!
Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be the same without one of their pies on my table. I’m so excited for tomorrow and so thankful for such a wonderful business.

We recently asked Jennifer, the owner, to put together a charcuterie spread for our parents’ anniversary party, and she knocked it out of the park. She grew the cucumbers, tomatoes, and rosemary in her own garden, she made the jams and cookies from scratch, and every other ingredient was top-quality and thoughtfully sourced.
The board looked gorgeous, tasted even better, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. On top of that, Jennifer’s pricing was fair and straightforward. We’d happily work with her again and recommend her to anyone planning an event!

HEXY TEXAN
A cute little hidden gem has unique items to look at while you have a nice lunch. Sandwhiches were delicious. It’s hard to find a place that has a nostalgic vibe.

I wish I could tell you the name of the sandwich I just ate but they haven’t named it yet. It was by far the bestest sandwich I’ve ever had!!! I hope it stays on the menu for good, it is called the special right now! I wish I could show you a picture of it but I ate every last crumb of it before I even thought about a review It had pesto, chicken, arugula, balsamic, red onions, on toasted ciabatta bread, man was it good! Please give the special a name and keep it, it has earned its place and hit the spot!

They serve the best pies. Make sure you reserve your pie, in the time frame, because if you procrastinate and try to get one at the last minute, its not guaranteed. First come first serve basis then. So reserve reserve reserve…it is definitely worth it. Thanks for exceptional pie and service.
