In all my years of eating sushi, I’ve never encountered rice that was stiff, chewy, and flavorless. Or gritty miso soup. I should have left after seeing a sushi menu with mostly fried options and crab stick. The only fish options are tuna and salmon. The tuna roll was the caliber of grocery store sushi. The lobster roll had minced seafood that tasted nothing like lobster, served in a sticky pile, though the ginger sauce was pretty good.
The space is nice like a casual neighborhood bar, with the rock and roll theming and decent music. The server was friendly enough, but oddly the entire stuff disappeared from the dining area for like 20 minutes.

Went to rock ‘n’ roll sushi in Jasper yesterday and it was amazing. Even the manager was real concerned with how our food was. I loved that location and I will definitely be going back one of the best rock ‘n’ roll sushi I’ve ever ate at.

One star only bc I can’t do zero stars. When I asked to speak the manager the waitress was very rude but when I did finally get to speak to the manager she was very rude and unprofessional. Picture speaks for itself.

Food was terrible if you want good sushi in Jasper go to bayou fresh it’s authentic and they put a lot of love and care into their food FOR HALF THE PRICE. I cannot say the same about rocknroll sushi it’s very dry and sketchy to eat the service is decent tho.

Don’t go. The food was awful. The sushi was ugly and falling apart. They ruined the tuna by turning it into a paste and stuffing it in rice. Seaweed was stale. The fried rice and sushi rice was soggy. The fried rice was also to salty and had too much sause it was like drinking the Ocean. They had one poor gal making all the sushi so it took forever. Servers were pleasant.

Every time we come to Alabama we have to come to Rock and Roll Sushi. Literally have some of the most unique and best sushi rolls. I crave their Tour Bus roll. The servers are always friendly and tentative. Restaurant is always clean and the atmosphere rocks! They have several locations in Alabama but we prefer the one in Jasper. If you’re craving sushi or a first time sushi eater this is the place to come with all of their choices. From raw to bake to fries haven’t had one I don’t enjoy

Enjoyed visiting here today with family. I’m not much for sushi but what we ordered was great. Only thing I can complain about is the hibachi veggies was a little to salty and slightly over cooked. But the tnt shrimp was awesome and so was the hibachi chicken, and also my son says the same thing about the ramen bowls. ❤️

Oh my the food was excellent. My friend got shrimp and prime rib and I got a roll that was fried and topped with crab. Can’t remember the name. The bartender McKeyon was fun to talk to and took care of us. This is my new fave place to eat in Jasper, now that Black Rock is closed.

My sushi was amazing as always and the service was great!! We always have a wonderful experience when we come to RNR Jasper !! The staff is so friendly and helpful!! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough !!

We waited like 40 minutes for our food and we were missing one roll. When the check was dropped off the manager made me pay for a roll that I never got and she had a attitude the whole time, rolling her eyes saying we got the roll, telling us that if we cant afford the food why did we come.I will be telling my friends and family to never go back there.
