Wonderful little diner! Service was outstanding and food was excellent! I had the Gentleman Jack and he had the Kickapoo special. Both were very good and an ample amount of food. I had to take some home to leave room for a piece of pie. Had the Reese’s peanut butter cup pie, it was delicious. Did I mention how fast and attentive the waitress was? I thank her name was Ashley. Great spot!

Ordered after lunch rush. Daily special for Tuesday…fried chicken. Tasted a bit stale from after lunch staged. Was a 2pc mix (unusual). One leg and one breast?? Creamy tators was good. Cole slaw too wet and drippy. Added table salt and pepper. NBD. Wait staff very nice and easy on your eyes!! Establishment well known for delicious pies (to go).

Unpretentious, just great food and great service. Hubby and I both had the fried chicken, and it was oh-so-tasty and juicy. My coleslaw was just great, too, and the toffee cream pie was just the right light touch afterwards.

It was my first time eating here and it was absolutely delicious! The food was all homemade and the wait staff were very kind. The hot beef sandwich was amazing and the mashed potatoes were homage as well! Couldn’t leave without a piece of pie. Nice to eat somewhere where everything is made in house. Can’t wait to go back for dinner again here!

First time here for lunch. Service was great and burgers huge and great tasting. Wish the fry portions would be a little bit bigger for $4.05 just for a side of fries. But overall great food and service, we will be back!

Excellent family diner off Highway 74. All the classics are served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pies look amazing, I will post an updated review when I confirm how good they are!

I just like to say this place is phenomenal! My husband and I stopped here while traveling to WY from NC. The atmosphere was very friendly, the staff was so nice and our waitress was the best! My husband had the roast beef open face sandwich with gravy and fries. The roast beef was real roast beef, not the deli sliced variety that you normally see. I had their fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. I liked that the portions weren’t too big and it was probably some of the best fried chicken I have had! The finale to this great lunch was the peach, raspberry crumb pie with a scoop of ice cream on top! Eat here!! You will not be disappointed!!

Good little hometown diner. Staff was wonderful, cheerful and welcoming. Old 80s/90s diner feel. Great light lunch options for people needing to stay awake another 6 hours. Coleslaw and chicken salad had a large chunk of lettuce, other than that it was great.

Great food! Didn’t realize it was such a popular spot until I posted I was there on Facebook. Lots of my “friends” had already been there and had memories from as far back as childhood. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is because they kept switching our servers and I still have no idea who was supposed to be it. They only came to table once. Won’t stop us from coming back.
