Please don’t spend your money here! You are better off going to Ramos BBQ 1000000times. Rude cashier, store bought tortillas, no sides no drink! 0/10

Dishonest business. Spend your money elsewhere.
Cashier added addtl charges to our bill and added more than a 15% gratuity to a table of 3 and tried to lie and justify her dishonesty.
Sign in the restaurant reads that a 15% gratuity charge will be added for a table of 4 or more.
Spent close to $90 for a 2 people platter that included 2 can drinks, 1 baked potatoe, 1 Flavored Joya drink.
Nothing about the food at this restaurant was remarkable, in my.opinion.

Don’t recommend! They’re dishonest. I ordered 3 pieces of meat and a water, $6 for half a sausage $3 for a small rib $3 for a small chicken thigh, that was the price on the menu. Went to pay and got charged $24 and change! I left and came back because my math didn’t add up, I thought they’d made a mistake but the young lady said it was because of the taxes and said I also was charged for the charro beans they give you when you sit down. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principality of things. My friend ordered 3 items of $3 each and a water plus a couple of tortillas and paid $22. $46 for 6 small pieces of meat, is ridiculous! Believe me, there’s nothing special about the food.

The food was excellent. We’ll be going back for sure. they serve drinks soda in a can, botttled water (cheap kind) & imported Mexican sodas. Those are quite overpriced for the “experience”. So brace yourself. We were waited on by a child. Looked like a family owned business. Our experience was good & we’ll be back. There’s also a funny back drop to take photos.

Everything was amazing! Chicken hit the spot, ribs are huge, beans are extremely flavorful and the baked potato was perfect!

Nothing special here. Overpriced cooked meats. Portions and service are in need of improvement. La Ganadera sells you cooked 1lb fajita, 1lb sausage, 1lb chicken fajita, 4 beans 2 packs of tortillas with 4 salsas for $32.00. Skip here and go there. This plate here is $24.00.

Brought my husband here for the first time. Drove to this place from Weslaco and let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious and great price! It became my husband’s favorite restaurant in the entire RGV! Hands down! He said even better than The Roadhouse! I know how he felt about The Roadhouse so it definitely says a lot about this place. Always great food here!

Ordered half chicken plate with beans and pico to go. Chicken teased me all the way home. When I finally sat down to eat it was everything I expected. Perfection on the bone. Crispy skin. Smoky flavor. Seasoned well. Beans are good too. The only thing missing is a couple slices of lime. Next time I’ll ask. Lucky I have some here to go with my Dos Equis. I’ll go again. Caught a picture of the guys cooking as I left.
