We came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. I found the restaurant by doing a Google search for Italian as we drove up New Hampshire. There is plenty of parking and an ice cream shop next door. You enter into the bar area, so just take a left to get to the dining room. We were greeted by the owner (a traditional Italian Nonni) who sat us immediately. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. My boyfriend ordered a beer ($6), then we had a buffalo chicken Cesar salad and the lasagna. I ate every bite! For dessert, my boyfriend had the lava cake and I had an amazing cannoli ($5.50 each). Our entire meal was $59 (including tax)! I haven’t seen these prices since the 90s. And we had a nice chat with the owner. I hope we are in the area again. This place was a hidden gem!

Nice American-Italian restaurant in Bristol. Decent variety with flavorful food. Dinner rolls are amazing! Crispy outside, pillowy soft inside. Started with the fried calamari. Super tender with a crisp exterior. For dinner, had the linguine with clams special and wife had the scallops. Both very tasty.
Service was simply amazing. Our server, Nadine, was juggling a large table, and two smaller ones, including our two top. She did an amazing job juggling all of us, and keeping us on pace with drinks, appetizers, rolls, and main courses. An elderly woman, I can only assume the owner, was there helping out by cleaning tables, providing food, running service, and generally being very supportive of the wait staff. Everyone working there seemed to work as a team, helping each other out, and covering for each other.
Love Rossi’s. Way better than that slightly fancier place up the road that’s part of a local chain. We will be back. By the way, the photo of the calamari shows us after we had dipped into a couple pieces. It was a much neater and cleaner presentation than the photo! The food was so good, we simply tucked in before being able to take appropriate photos.

UPDATED REVIEW: My original review is below. Last night, Sept 7, 2025, I purchased our 51st anniversary dinner from here. We ordered a large pizza with chicken, onion, and broccoli. Also, two shrimp cocktails, then a kid’s order of meatballs and zetti.
Everything was EXCELLENT. The red sauce with the meatballs might be the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. They were firm, not rubbery. The pizza crust was unbelievable.
I’m NOT a relative or friend of the Rossi’s. I’m just an ordinary customer like you. I feel this place is superior to Fratello’s in Laconia.
Original Review: I purchased a pizza for takeout here two nights ago. I’ve driven by this restaurant no less than 500 times and never visited. What a mistake! The pizza was excellent. It was ready on time. The toppings were abundant. I could see the owners hard at work in the kitchen through the Take Out portal. I guarantee you I’ll be back with my wife and friends. Oh, I forgot to tell you about the pizza crust. I’m a crust snob! The crust was perfect. The outer ring was cooked to perfection. It was still nice and doughy, but firm. I haven’t had crust like that since Zino’s in Cincinnati in the 1980s!

This was our first time here. We had a new waitress ( Kathy) & she was really good. The food was so delicious. Service was awesome. If we come back to New Hampshire.
Must try this place if you want great food.

Spent $91 for 3 disappointing takeout dishes. We got 2 “stuffed” shrimp dishes, neither were stuffed with the seafood stuffing. Instead they gave us 8 pieces of unseasoned sautéed shrimp. The linguine was undercooked and stuck together like a rock. The baked scallops were cooked well, but very plain as there wasn’t any butter or breadcrumbs. For $28 a dish i expected it to be better. Overall I wouldn’t go here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Ok so the wife and I went the other day and brought our adult daughter and her family so 4 adults and 2 babies we got 3 apps between us and each got a meal plus 3 beers total and 1 cocktail
The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding we have no complaints at all
My wife and I got the seafood specials me haddock and her claims
My daughter got baked pasta and son in law got the chicken parm. Like I said the food was great and the bill reflected it lol it definitely wasn’t a cheap meal and I am ok with that
The only prob with the place in my opinion is the ugliness lol it has no curb appeal it looks like a dive from the outside then inside you have to walk down a weird hallway to get to the dinning room it’s total cut off from the bar and the inside decor is extremely dated it definitely needs an face-lift I will prob not return and pay the prices they want in a dive looking bar.

Rossi’s has been out favorite Italian restaurant for years. The best pizza in NH and always excellent entrees. A “special menu item” last weekend was “Sausage Caccitore” and it was absolutely delicious – don’t miss it if you see it on the specials board!
