The service was friendly, and you can sit at any open seat. We ordered the ahi tuna nachos, pork belly, Reuben 2.0, a burger, and another sandwich, along with IPAs and cider. Everything was delicious.

The food was absolutely amazing. And they had a great beer selection. I had been here before for fish and chips which were great but I had to come back again and try a few more things. We got the broccoli, the lobster roll, an order of French fries and the firecracker shrimp. Everything was spectacular and the portions were massive. I cannot wait to stop here again – its definitely my new go to spot in Montpelier.

Great food & atmosphere. Reasonable prices & friendly hard working servers. I lived here all my life and just went for the first time. Had blackened salmon tacos and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were amazing.

This was the only busy place in the downtown area of Montpelier. This is a seat yourself place. The server was amazing (Valerie). The food took a little of a wait, we had two burgers and sides. The fries for me was the best part, the fries were amazing. My husband loved his burger , he added cheese and bacon.

Pretty great little place, food isn’t anything that’s going to blow your mind but our meals were solid American bar food. I always love some fried green beans. Atmosphere was fun and they had karaoke going on New Year’s Eve. Service was fast and friendly.

This place is absolutely fantastic, from the delicious and rotating specials, their menu, and their service.

Food is made with love, and this place is clearly adored by locals. We felt welcome from out of town, and left with our stomachs full of some of the best food I have had in my life.

No picture because I literally inhaled that chicken sandwich. Bacon jam, off the charts. Apple slaw? Insane. So ridiculously good.

Absolutely worth the visit.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this place. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the few reviews and limited pictures. Everything was great for the price. I would highly recommend grabbing a bite here if you are traveling through Vermont. The hot toddy lava cake on special was really yummy. I’d definitely suggest the French onion soup too.

Classic old pub, comfy and casual. Scarred dark-wood bar on the right and booths along the left, and – thank God – air conditioning!
Great service even though it was mostly full for Sunday brunch. And, amazingly, the food was just excellent. Especially the lobster rolls – in Vermont? – yes, in Vermont. We spent a week in Newport eating lobster rolls every day and these were as good as anything we had at that seafront mecca. Completely packed with fresh lobster, a perfectly selected and toasted bun, just the right mayo with herbs and spices. Outstanding!
Not to be outdone, the fried potato cakes were delicious as well, and our companion loved his bacon and pancakes.
So why only four stars? The owners felt the best way to keep the front door from latching while they served the outdoor diners was to keep the deadbolt extended, so every time the waiter went in or out it the door would swing shut and the bolt would crash against the door frame. We were seated next to it and the the crash would occur every 15-30 seconds, nonstop. And so easy to avoid – just unlock the deadbolt and put a piece of tape over the latch. By the end everyone at our table agreed that if it weren’t for the god%#$ door this would’ve been a perfect lunch.
Still pretty great though.

We stopped into the Langdon Street Tavern for lunch during a road trip through Vermont. The tavern is located about two miles off the highway in downtown Montpelier one street off of Main street. There is street parking and meters that you pay for using the park mobile app. When you walk into the bar you get the small town tavern feel with a nice bar and seating area and a few local patrons visiting. There is a nice pool table in the back. The servers were very friendly and greeted us quickly. I had the shaved brisket which was very good. The other guys had a Reuben and the Pub Burger, all good. There is a good selection of liquor and draft beers at the bar. We enjoyed our lunch here and would recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner and some drinks if you are near Montpelier.
