Was in the area so we came here for a quick lunch and I’m so glad we did! Got two mixed pupusas, the stewed chicken, and a jamaica. The food was freshly made and tasted almost nostalgic! Would absolutely recommend! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.

I been here three times, and I enjoyed the meals I ate at this location. They truly try to get as close or succeed in making the food taste like you’re in El Salvador . The staff has been friendly and seems to care about their customers. The portions are big and worth the price. I recommend anyone trying it for themselves if you are in the area.

I remember why we don’t go here anymore. Sigh. Every time we give it another try and still a let down. Many years ago it was good. Many. But the last few times over the last 4-6 years it has just lost its touch. Always dry papusas. More masa than anything. No flavor. The sauce and cortido is so bland and just not good. The horchata dose not tats anything like salvi horchata. The service is horrible. Their other foods lack flavor and cold by the time it get to table. Just can’t come back here unfortunately. For real this time. Hope that the recipe changes but also service improves.

Probably the best El Salvadoran restaurant in the AV. Food is plentiful, delicious very reasonably priced. Just a note…it DOES help if you know how to speak Spanish. Most of the workers have a very limited command of English, but that only makes it more authentic! It gives me a chance to use my pointy/speaky skills. The enchilada is not anything like the Mexican enchilada. These are served on a crisp corn tortilla with a bounty of meat and veggies…topped with a half of a boiled egg. The pupusas are well stocked with cheese and filling, and only about $3 each. This place is certainly worth visiting when in Palmdale.

I used to think this place was good based on a previous visit, but my recent experience was very frustrating. I tried calling multiple times to place an order, thinking it would save time, but they never answered the phone. I waited over 45 minutes with no response. It’s incredibly disappointing that they can’t even pick up a call. Definitely not worth the hassle.

I made a mistake going to buy pupusas to go at this place, I ordered 4 pupusas, two with cheese with loroco, one mixed and one with chicharrón only. They tasted as if we were eating plain tortillas not much of the ingredients we asked for. We can barely taste the cheese or the other ingredients. And so expensive too like $3.50 each.
Never going back to buy food there again.

I usually order take out from this restaurant, never had any issues with my order. It’s about a 30 or so minute wait for 10 pupusas. Overall, great experience. Very delicious as well!
