Great BBQ! Joe is incredibly friendly and an amazing cook. If you’re reading reviews trying to decide whether to go, stop here and just go—you won’t regret it. Everything we’ve had has been fantastic with that perfect smoky flavor.

Incredible BBQ restaurant in downtown. The portions were large and I felt good value. The sides were great, but I was quite partial to the very flavorful green beans. Mac n cheese was also top notch. Cole slaw on the sandwich had a nice smoke flavor to it that just set the whole thing off. Menu has good options depending on budget too. Our table also got ribs and rib tip platters, both of which were well worth the larger price tag.

We ate lunch there today. Oh my goodness!!! It was some of the best food! Everything my family ordered was absolute perfection! We had a rib plate, a smoked/grilled chicken plate, and a chopped bbq pork sandwich plate. The sides we tried were baked beans, mac & cheese, seasoned rice, and the smoked cabbage. I don’t even like cabbage that much, but this cabbage was AMAZING! Go eat here if you’re in the area!

Dropped in to try as I’ve passed this place a few times. We got a pound of pulled pork, as we were making our own “hickory fries” at home. The BBQ pulled pork is slamming. We will be back to try more! Also, we tried chocolate chip cookies and they were AMAZING! Didn’t look as soft as I thought they were but they were soft and delicious! Decor made me feel welcome and at home!

We were just passing through town and decided to stop in for a quick lunch…Definitely the right decision! The food, amazing. The staff, as kind as can be. It’s a 45-minute drive from home, but I’ll definitely be back!

WHAT A GEM! I almost literally stumbled in this place. Rerouted off I-20 and starving. Saw bbq, made an illegal U-turn, and boy and am I glad I did.
Tanika (sp?) was fantastic. Right when I walked in, there were two people playing piano and guitar and singing, practicing what sounded like some fantastic blues…and I am normally not a fan! Haha
The food was so good I got dinner for later.
Smoked chicken was PERFECTION. perfect spice, and SO MEATY. I haven’t seen chicken with this much meat since the turn of the century.
Run don’t walk. Bring home dinner for the fam. Eat your vegetables. Get the smoked cabbage and extra corn bread.

Collin’s Family Food & BBQ is hands-down my new favorite spot in Villa Rica! The ribs are fall-off-the-bone perfect, the gold-dusted turkey is packed with flavor, and the smoky sausage and chicken are incredible. The sides are just as amazing—especially the rich, creamy mac & cheese, baked beans, and dirty rice.
The food comes out hot and fresh, the service makes you feel like family, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. You can taste the passion and love in every bite. If you haven’t tried Collin’s yet, you’re missing out on one of the best BBQ experiences around!!

I’m posting this on Monday because I really wish they were open today! The food is absolutely amazing. My favorites are the macaroni, cabbage, rice, and honestly, the entire menu. Lol. Don’t forget to try the peanut butter cookies – they’re a must! The hospitality is top-notch; they truly make you feel like family!

Not very crowded on a Friday lunch time. Evans BBQ down the street was packed with no parking spots open. The pulled pork was good with generous portions. The sides were decent, especially the green beans and macaroni and cheese. The slaw was just o.k. as well as the smoked cabbage. The smoked sausage dog was underwhelming with a small link and not a whole lot of flavor. It seemed store bought and not homemade like a good BBQ restaurant would have. We got the cheaper menu items because everything else seemed way overpriced. $30 for a turkey leg plate, and $23 for 4 smoked wings and two sides. Overall, it was an o.k. visit. They had some good blues music playing inside and the staff was good about checking on us. I wouldn’t necessarily return to try something else on the menu.
