We had an excellent meal! We got there at 11:30 on July 4th (almost the only restaurant open) and only a few were there but it filled up quickly. I ordered the Cajun Comeback burger with fries. I believe I’ve never had a better burger! It was perfect. Fries were excellent. My wife had shrimp tacos and they were very good. Great service and a wonderful experience.

This was our restaurant of choice for a December weekend meet up with family for “lupper”. We knew nothing about the food scene in Laurel but several local shop owners or staff were high on Cafe Le Fleur. The food theme leans toward Cajun but there are less spicy selections, as my wife can attest. The Chicken Bayou was perfectly Cajun, however, and I enjoyed every bite. Very fine fried green tomatoes appetizer, as well. The service was exceptional…I wish I could recall her name but she said she and another person at the restaurant make the desserts served in the restaurant! This a very good restaurant which I would return to if I’m ever in Laurel again.

Just had lunch here today! I had the chicken tortellini. I asked for bread. Everything was delicious!!!! The serving size was generous! The price, staff and atmosphere were great! Not a very long wait time for a busy holiday Saturday either. Perfect visit! Thank you! 🙂

We went to Cafe La Fleur on a Friday evening in hopes of a good catfish meal because we missed Mr Fish. The catfish meal was “JUST” ok, but our server Samantha made the experience well worth it. She was so friendly and a wealth of information about things to do in the area. Great service and great conversation! We would come back just to chat a minute. We think that you guys should consider adding a stage in the front window area and featuring Samantha’s comedic style. Again great service and even greater server, thanks Samantha.

Decent portions, decent prices- my po-boy was overflowing with fried shrimp. The service was SUPER fast and our waitress was very sweet and friendly. Nice atmosphere and very authentic Cajun food. Everything was nicely seasoned and the shrimp was delicious. Great place for lunch in Laurel.

Stopped in for lunch after reviewing the menu that was posted outside. Very older and simple atmosphere, but food was delicious, dinning room was full of a variety of locals and tourists. Our meals were exceptional, great prices for the nice size portions. Was disappointed we didn’t have enough room left over to try out all the delicious cheesecakes flavors that were posted on the wall.

We found this place by accident. We were looking for a new place to eat. I found them online. The food qes awsum, the service was very good, the prices were pretty good, not too pricey. We will be returning. We highly recommend them. It’s like you walked into New Orleans restaurant, but stepped back out into Laurel, MS, when you leave. ☺️

We went to Laurel for the first time and decided to trying this place out and it was great! We started with the boudin balls and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of them. The boudin balls were awesome, I highly recommend them. I got the mardi gras poboy which was pretty good and the fries were great. I got to try some of the redfish and the catfish Florentine which would definitely get if I ever go back. Over all it was a great meal.

I believe the servers name was Nancy. Absolute 5 star experience. She was personable and gave the perfect balance of attentiveness and space. This is a skill. Some servers check in to the point of bugging you… others make you feel like they’ve forgotten you’re there. The manager also checked on us from time to time to ask if we needed anything but Nancy had already beat her to it. Gave me great pleasure to brag on her by saying, “She’s getting it for us.” A jewel in Jones County.
