We got a takeaway from saffron this evening for the first time and it was absolutely beautiful the flavours were amazing. We’ve had from other Indian takeaways before but saffron far exceed any other for flavour. I ordered early on line and it gave me a guided time for delivery and it wasn’t far off either. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because it was certainly worth it. I had the south Indian garlic balti and there was a vegetarian masalla ordered too with vegetable pilau rice and naan bread all were lovely. Thankyou saffron for a delicious meal!!! Also the girl I spoke to on the phone was so pleasant as was the man who delivered it.

Fantastic food as usual. Had the kebab today and it was truly amazing. Only ate half and will keep the rest for tomorrow. Would definitely do 2 people. The best onion bahjis in town. The delivery was quick and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone to give it a try. The best in Carlisle

Ordered from here tonight. I must say it was out of this world. One of the best curries I’ve ever tasted. Also ordered the chicken chaat which was delicious and beautiful presented as it should be.it came with a freshly made chapati which was well needed to mop up the remaining juices Also didn’t mind paying the extra 90p for an extra sauce and onion salad as i didn’t order a side dish. The korma was amazing and the chicken so tender. This has got to be my new favourite takeaway. The staff were amazing and helpful and so friendly. Highly recommend to anyone

We ordered the Munchi box as a starter, this has a good amount of food including naan bread, chips, samosas, and lots of different meat.
My main was the Chilli Bomb (hotter than phall) which was gorgeous and full of flavour.
The wife and boys had a Korma that had a lovely thick rich sauce.
The saffron pillau and vegetable pillau are both nice and good sized portions
Also ordered a extra naan, chips and some poppadoms
All this was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Stopped off on the way home from work. The restaurant was clean and a warm atmosphere. My order was taken quickly and the food arrived quickly. The curry was amazing bloody tasty. Probably the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Will definitely be ordering again.

Wow we got the famous chicken chat . Heard good things about it .it was amazing Very flavorsome you could taste every spice . Ordered from here tonight after hearing great things from a friend. The lady who served me was lovely, and friendly. We ordered Chicken Dansak, Chicken Tikka stir fry, Masala chips and a Peshwari naan. WOW!
This food not only looked great, but tasted incredible. The naan was fresh, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the stir fry was beautifully seasoned, as were the masala chips which were fresh.
Will definitely be back and recommending this place to friends!

Absolutely beautiful. Ordered a curry on opening day and it was amazing. U could taste all the spices. Quick delivery. Can’t wait for my next takeaway. The best curry house in Carlisle. Would definitely recommend
