Kind of meh and small portions for the price.
I ordered the Herb Crusted Chicken. It was very overcooked and dry. Once I’d finished eating, I realized that I’ve had larger drum-style chicken wings with more meat on them than what this dish had.
My coworker had the chicken pot pie which was marginal at best. Definitely not worth the pricetag.
Our server was fairly slow in closing us out.
Definitely would not recommend.

Here in Rosemont for a work meeting. There are not many options in my hotel (most required a 0.5 to 1 mile walk). This place was the closest. I ordered their Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken breast for an additional cost. The salad was quite good. The ingredients were fresh and the dressing was very well made. The salad was missing the olives mentioned in the menu. But the overall taste along with the flavorful and moist (small) chicken breast was solid. Portion is smallish for the cost and as an entree size. The ambiance is a hotel pub. The service was fine; the waiter was running around and not terribly warm or friendly, but passable.

We stop in for a quick late dinner and thankfully they were still serving food. Jenny was our server and what a delightful person. I highly recommend that you ask for her, you won’t regret your decision.

Although the quality of the food, service and atmosphere were good- the food was definitely overpriced. I think that it is one of the “captive audience” situations where people who are staying at the hotel don’t want to leave, and are willing to pay the higher prices for the food for that convenience.
I suggest you read my parking review for this restaurant before deciding to come here.
Bottom line: a good choice for someone staying at the hotel, but not for “outsiders”- especially during unpleasant weather.

Liberty Tavern is a cozy place to grab a good meal and a drink. The staff is professional and kind, and have never left me waiting or wanting for anything. Food’s reasonably priced and very good, portion sizes are fair too. Really nothing bad to say about this place!

Went here with a very large group. I worked with the manager, Rafael, to set this up a couple weeks in advance. The service and experience could not have been better. The team at Liberty Tavern, including Rafael, were there and ready to serve our group at the time of our reservation. Every single one of them had smiles on their faces and were happy to help us in any way. Huge THANK YOU to the team that night: Albert, Kenny, Jenny, Andrea, Louis, Ylli, Sebastian, Masud, and Salim. I’ve never had a better experience at a restaurant with such a large group. All in our group had a great time and agreed that the team here went above and beyond!

We came with a really large group and they absolutely killed it with service. I had the salad and a side of fries, and my food tasted great. A lot of us were on a time crunch, and food came out fast. Not only that, our server was diligent, friendly, and FAST! I will be at this conference next year and definitely planning to come back to Liberty Tavern! Great staff, food is mediocre and expensive, but it is Rosemont and located in a nice hotel. I ordered roasted corn chowder, asparagus, and onion rings. Menu isn’t the best selection of choices. I payed 40.88 for everything I listed and a 22oz stella tap beer. I would t go out of my way to stop back, but if I’m staying at the hotel not a bad choice.
