First we got our chips and drinks in under the first minute of sitting down! The food was excellent and the amount it took to make the food and serve it was almost faster than chick fil a! This is an amazing restaurant you should definitely swing by if you’re hungry.

Love N.C.
The food was very good and flavorful. Had the carne asada steak. Grilled fish tacos and shrimp taco. Their house chips are delicious. I service was not very good. Our servehad to be asked several times to refill waters and never asked how our meal was. I wish we had gotten her name. Nice bar area.

Nice large place with lots of food options. Our waiter was very nice but was unable to understand what we were ordering. I had to ask for plates, napkins, and say my order multiple times. My meal could have been really good but it was super greasy so I opted to only eat a little so I wouldn’t get sick. The nachos we good but cold when we got them and I just think maybe it was an off day! I want to love this place.

We have eaten here several times as it’s such a great family friendly option close to home and always delicious. Today, I was out with my baby and newly potty trained 2 year old when he suddenly had to use the bathroom. I quickly pulled over expecting to go to Starbucks to let him use the bathroom and of course buy a coffee. Starbucks was closed for renovations. Agaves graciously let us use their restroom even though I had no time to eat there. We will certainly visit ASAP this week. I really appreciated their compassion as the gift shop next door denied us use of their restroom. Thank you Agaves for your empathy and kindness, something often lacking in this country.

Consistently inconsistent.
I’ve dined and and ordered take out on numerous occasions due to the convenient location. This place is never the same. Sometimes is great, sometimes is takes like yesterdays food was thrown in the microwave. Most recently I ordered carry out and it took 50 minutes. I asked why it took so long and was told, “oh the order was never sent to the back.” Go else where.

This place was packed, but we were lucky enough to find a couple of seats by the bar. The Pollo Con Chorizo was insanely good! The Churros with Ice Cream are the perfect sweet treat to follow. When you get the chips and salsa in the beginning, make sure to ask for the salsa verde too. Even though they were slammed, the staff were attentive and pleasant. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Great service. I was there in the middle of Friday night rush but they were keeping up just fine. Kudos!
Really good food. I had a delicious taco salad. My husband has fajitas. The meat was a bit bland.

Nice, spacious restaurant with a wide variety of culinary alternatives. Despite being really kind, our server couldn’t grasp what we were ordering. I had to repeat my order several times and ask for plates and napkins. I could have had a great supper, but because it was so fatty, I decided to eat just enough to avoid becoming ill. When we received the nachos, they were tasty but cold, and I believe it might have been a bad day. This is a location I wish to love.

1st off, the bad:

Hostess gave us a “look” when we asked for an outside table, and put us inside instead/anyway. Tisk tisk…

Our waiter was nice, but he didn’t follow up by asking if everything was alright as we had no silverware or napkins when the food was brought out. I sat there lookin’ for him, but not sure where he went. It wasn’t busy, so no excuses when I see other staff doing nothing…some older guy setting up and tending to a table with silverware at a table with no visible patrons at it…while I have none. Aye Dios mio…

Like many Hispanic establishments, its got loud music. At least it wasn’t the bouncy stuff like at La Ha.

The acoustics sucked as you can hear everyone in the room talking (probably tryin’ to talk over the loud music) loudly. It just was super noisey. Felt like chaos.

All the tables are just kinda out in the middle of the room; no booths…an introvert’s with social anxiety nightmare.

Menu is plain with no pictures, and kinda confusing as to what you do get with whatever you order. Does it come with cheese, or is that something extra you request? No se. ‍♂️

Now, the good:

Didn’t run out of drinks.

Food came out fast, and tasted good.

Salsa and chips were good…appreciated it not being too spicy.

Overall:

For me to actually feel the need to jot down notes for this review is telling enough (I never do!). I will not be going/coming back (I’m sure they’ll be glad of that), and I do not and would not and will not recommend.

The nachos I order to go were a mess and not very eatable. I have gone here for years, overall the food is consistently average. The best thing here is the drinks, but they come with a price.
