We had the most delish dinner with incredible service last month at Farmstead Table. We sat in the bar area at one of the bistro tables and the bartender went above and beyond for us. You can’t skip the popovers & mussels for starters. I enjoyed the steak frites and my husband loved his fish dish. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Farmstead, they took great care of us! Everything that we ordered was fantastic! One important note: the menus online are not labeled but there are different menus between lunch and dinner so you can’t get some dishes.

We had an incredible experience. The service was exceptional — shoutout to the waiter with the fun light-blue apron! He knows his stuff and all of his recommendations were spectacular. We had the striped bass, which was delicate and had nice depth in taste; the popovers were fresh, crispy, and light; and our strawberry shortcake had the right balance of sweetness from the cake, a light hint of mint, and the fruity/tartness of the berries. It was a beautiful dinner. The restaurant pays attention to the details of every dish and it shows! My mother came to visit and celebrate me/my partner’s one year in Boston… Farmstead was the highlight of our night.

Love this place, and I have been here more than 10 times over 2 years. They offer great food, quality, service and atmosphere.

Menu changes by season so you can expect to get various selection of dishes, and I would like to try all the dishes they offer season by season. I cannot specify certain dishes I had since I tried more than 80% of the menu here. Cocktail and beverages are also something that you can rely on. All were good and none of them disappointed me.

Service is always welcoming and comfortable regardless you visit here for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

This is a cozy small friendly, but not fancy. Yet, the quality of the food is fancy.

The cozy, farmhouse-style ambiance creates a warm and inviting dining experience. The menu good options for vegetarian person, and every dish is beautifully presented. I especially loved the Mushroom Dumplings, which was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was exceptionally friendly.

Had the brussel sprout taco appetizer. Was tasty, it was a little bit overpriced for what you get. I likely would try something different next time. I had the burger and ordered it medium rare. Was definitely rare in the middle, I don’t mind it too much so I just ate it and it tasted good. Someone sensitive to internal temp may want to confirm this when ordering. Bacon on burger was ok, so thin and crispy didn’t add much flavor, overall burger was good. Fries were delicious, they had good flavor without dousing them in the oil which was great as I don’t do ketchup. Wife had farmer’s plate and enjoyed it. She usually skips the home fries style potatoes but enjoyed these which is rare and says a lot about their ability to add flavor without smothering it with a sauce or something else. Overall it was a good first impression.

My family and I came here for brunch last weekend. Despite the place not being crowded when we arrived, slow service. As for the food, they are trying hard to give creative twists to some of their dishes but it just didn’t work. The brussels sprout taco was way too tangy and the mayo didn’t help either. The spelt toast with roasted mushrooms had a layer of butternut squash puree making it icky sweet! Other dishes we ordered were meh except for the popovers and the french toast.

Cute little place with curated menu. We had popovers, mussels, broccolini, and shiitake dumplings. Concept is good but execution lacking on the Fri evening that we were there. Crispy Cheese wafer on broccoli was old and stale, popovers were not fresh either. Mussels and dumplings had fantastic flavors. Nice atmosphere to catch up with friends.

I met a friend here recently for lunch. Nice vibe, with a comfort food oriented menu. Not a great vegetarian selection, but you can find a few things. They also serve brunch and dinner. Conveniently located right by a Green Line stop, or park on the street.
