It is hard to find a good salvadorean/hispanic in most areas around Fredericksburg but this is definitely the best one around the area. Food is very aunthentic, has a homemade taste to it and the food is seasoned well. Their service was really good from when we got there all the way to when we left. Our waitress and the lady up front were super friendly and very attentive and even took time to talk to us after we ate. We ordered 6 pupusas which they were really good, two tacos which were also very good and 3 empanadas that were good as well. Our 2 year old loved everything we ordered as well. Food is great, employees are humble and super friendly and price is good as well. Will definitely keep going. The waitress and the lady up front even gave our son a balloon they had there that he found interesting.

We’ve been here several times before, but I always forgot to make a review. The food is always fantastic. We never have any problems being seated or with service. My only issue is trying to figure out what to order because everything looks so good. I really love their menu because it actually shows a picture of the dish! So few restaurants do that and I wish they would. I usually get the steak torta, but this time I ordered the birria and it was great. It doesn’t come with any sides though. The prices are affordable except the tacos are pricey. My partner loves the pupusas and the sopa de res. Overall I would recommend everyone to try this place; you won’t be disappointed.

The good places are always tucked away a bit. This place was great! One of the few places in Fredericksburg where the food was actually legitimately spicy.
I had a plate of enchiladas and it was flavorful and substantial and best of all, had a real bite.
Also worth noting this place had extremely cleanly restrooms.

My new favorite little place for the best Mexican food. I am a vegetarian and there are not alot of options. But I asked for some vegetarian nachos and man the owner did not disappoint. A huge pile of fresh fajita vegetables, cheese, Pico, it was amazing. I also ordered a side of Guacamole this was by far the best I have ever tried. Way to go! I will most definitely be back.

As soon as I walked in you could feel the warmth. The cashier was polite and welcoming. I purchased pupusas reveultas, taco asada and plantanos fritos. They packaged everything for convenience on the go. I highly recommend, they have some of the best food I have had in the past year since moving to VA.

This place is absolutely delicious. I just moved here from California where all my Salvadoran family lives and was sad because I wouldn’t be able to find good Salvadoran food but this J’Angelas proved me wrong. This has become a weekly staple for my household. Last night I had la sopa de mondongo y pupusas revueltas and it took me straight back my childhood in mi abuelitas kitchen con mis tías. The broth of the soup was rich and tangy, and the portion size was incredible. Las pupusas fueron ricas también con mucho sabor. You can tell this restaurant prides itself on quality food made with love and sold at a really decent price. Also for date night they have amazing margaritas. Check J’Angelas out!

Holy YUMM! The birria tacos are sooo stinking delicious – I could drink an entire cup of the consommé on its own. And the pupusas are just darn right good for the soul.
Chips were warm, salsa was cold, tacos were speedy and hot, pupsas were nice and warm, and service was friendly!
My biggest complaint? They’re located in FXBG and I’m in stafford… but I just found a new favorite spot.

I went to this Salvadoran and Mexican restaurant and was really impressed! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavor, and the service was excellent everyone was friendly and attentive. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit and will definitely be coming back!
