I had one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I went here for a girl’s trip for my 40th birthday, and this place did not disappoint! Every employee was very helpful and friendly. Our server Sam was top notch! She knows what she is doing! Very attentive, read our energy and is a natural photographer. I also have food allergies and Sam had alternatives planned ahead for me. That meant the world to me. I highly recommend Sunset Dinners to anyone who wants breathtaking views and an amazing dining experience.

We’ve eaten here multiple times each summer for the last several years. We ate here again last week with family from out of state. The cocktails are excellent (Thanks Kelsey) our service was really good (Thanks Danny) I think this year the food was the best I’ve experienced. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the starter a bit smaller. We all had the Arancini which was excellent, but way too big a portion. We weren’t able to finish our mains and took dessert to go. Danny went out twice with us to take pictures with the sunset which we appreciated. From the lifties to the bussers, everyone has a good attitude and seems to enjoy being there which is refreshing.

Had a wonderful anniversary date night here & was extremely impressed with the service we got. It was a very 5 star experience & I would highly recommend checking this out. We went at sunset & rode the chair lift to the restaurant. Enjoyed a beautiful evening & amazing food. Food & drink portions were small & on the expensive end. Overall still highly enjoyable

I have to agree with the previous review as we had a very similar experience. For a high priced fancy meal, I was expecting a little better I guess. We also asked for a mocktail or non alcoholic list which was quote “NA beer, Pepsi products or any of their other cocktails” but without liquor. Ok, I settled for water and my husband had a Dr. Pepper. Our appetizers were the cucumber gazpacho which was pretty dang good. Our entrees were the ribeye steaks and red potatoes. The meat itself had good flavor but were fatty and the potatoes were like the kind of potatoes you get for breakfast at IHOP. He was definitely disappointed in the potatoes cause he commented about them a few times. The star of the whole meal was the panna cotta dessert. Holy moly that was insane.

I don’t want to be disrespectful, but for our anniversary dinner…we’re kinda disappointed. Especially for the amount we paid. I get the lift tickets are included in the price and the views are pretty incredible. It was a good experience and I’m glad we did it once, but we won’t be visiting again.

Beautiful views and fun time to take the family. Food was all delicious and prepped quickly. There was a thunderstorm so we did have to wait around for an hr before we could take the lift up. We are very happy we were able to do it!

What an awesome experience! I was concerned because of some of the reviews online made me think the view was the selling point and the food would be subpar but we were very pleased to learn that the food was absolutely delicious! The portions are large and they were very helpful in accommodating my food allergy. Cocktails are definitely worth trying too!

Wow! What an experience! Even for someone born and raised in Central Oregon this was impressive. I had never gone to the sunset dinner at Mt. bachelor before but it was such an experience that I will be taking any and all out of town guests up to this when giving them the Central Oregon tour. The appetizers still have my mouth watering and it’s been 5 months. The views were breathtakingly beautiful both while taking the lift and once at the top.

Fantastic. We have done this for 10 years and this meal is the best. Delicious rolls with cinnamon honey butter, delicious lobster bisque and other appetizer options. Filet (special) and short rib and mashed potatoes were fabulous. The dessert menu was new and was enjoyed by all four people in our party. Mt.brownie was one of the best brownies we tried- warm and gooey with salted Carmel gelato. Key lime cheesecake was delicious. The view is lovely and our service was great. Be prepared to eat as portions are very generous.

Our waitress was great as were the views and the ride on the lift. The food and the drinks were not even remotely worth the money. I would never go again. Save your money there are a zillion better places to eat in town.

Our server, Samantha, was great – super sweet. They also gave us complimentary Prosecco since we were dining there for our 8 year anniversary. Aside from that I don’t have anything good to say. For the price it was NOT a good meal. Everything tasted either stale or like to came out of a can or packaged mix. Some of it I couldn’t even eat. After meal, 1 drink each, and a 18% tip it was over $341. Music and ambience was super weird. They played what seemed like department store music. It felt like we were in an episode of severance. Idk maybe that will make you want to go haha – but not for $341. They’re just trying to make money on their off season but it felt like robbery. Made me not want to support Mt Bachelor at all.
