My daughter recommend Jesse’s so hard to find BBQ on a Sunday that is open. We were so blessed with great customer service, everyone was so happy, the food was delicious. We order the ribs, fried fish, chicken wings, mac and cheese, seafood rice. And the pound cake so damn good. Home-cooked food, the staff was friendly so nice. The woman who took care of us was beyond words, she was fantastic! Thank you, we’ll worth the money!

BBQ ribs did NOT taste like BBQ at all, the sauce was like buffalo – so spicy, yuck! Ribs dried and burned. Overhyped and overpriced. Do NOT recommend.

I loved the fact that the food reminds me of a home BBQ! I also enjoyed seeing the smoke coming out of the back of the building! It was definitely authentic.
I just wish the food was served in plates and the utensils weren’t plastic but I get the concept they were going for. I also have to point out that the staff was not very friendly and it didn’t really make me feel comfortable, a smile goes a LONG way! They almost seemed bothered that we walked in. The owner was in the middle of the restaurant looking at “the books” and didn’t really acknowledged you were in the building.
I also didn’t really get why I was served a piece of “wonder-bread” with my meal instead of incorporating a better piece of bread with the meal; it was underneath the ribs so by the time I got to it, it was really soggy!
For the price they charge I would expect a better atmosphere, better dinnerware; just a much more put together meal and service.

My shrimp was good! Deep fried crab legs was good but the meat in the inside was barely there.. my rib tips I’m very disappointed they seemed like they wasn’t freshly bbq, they seemed warmed up, my food was cold. The greens are bland need seasoning Mac needed a little more love.. pasta salad was great!!

It was our first visit. The food was ok. It seems like the ribs were heated up, but not enough and not enough sauce on them. They were tender though and the shrimp were good. The little scoop of mac and cheese was good, but the collards had a lot of stems in them.
My boyfriend had the ribs and chicken, which was a large portion and the chicken was tasty. I’d go back and try something else.
