Fried chicken was delicious and crunchy. Service was counter service and they were friendly, fast and efficient. I enjoyed their hospitality. Ambiance was good, it was a busy place for lunch, as that’s their only time they serve food. Everyone is coming in and out to get themselves a piece of crispy chicken . Would recommend if you are looking for southern cooking during lunch time!

So I went to Cookies yesterday everything fantastic I got fried chicken Mac n cheese and cabbage! I went back today and got fried chicken greens and yams (only because it was so delicious the day before) but when I got ready to eat my second peice of chicken and tore it into my chicken was not thoroughly cooked it still had blood coming from the inside . Please be sure to fry the chicken throughly per required time and temp by food and safety handling. The chicken too good to not be cooked throughly!

If your looking for some good ole southern food then this is the place served up cafeteria style. You get a choice of a variety of to die for sunday dinner menu items. Their specialty is fried chicken so I tried and it is in competion to being the best I have ever eaten. I will definitely be back..

This place had the BEST vegetables and chicken and beef tips we have ever had. I’m not a fan of a buffet because it’s usually just plain and bland. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be back.
