I had only been to this restaurant for take away before, which was quite good, but this time our experience dining in was also very positive. The food was very good. We had the royal chicken and chef’s special, coconut rice and nan. The price was very reasonable. We really enjoyed our lunch there and we are looking forward to coming back.

We ate here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was packed and sadly there were only two people serving. That said they were running around doing their best to keep everyone happy. The food was first class. We will definitely return and would recommend.

Ordered from uber eats here regularly. Good food. But this time they labelled the food as veg and sent non veg food. Since we are regular we called the restaurant directly and the owner apologized and agreed to send replacement and complimentary food the next day. Next day we were delivered just the replacements which also were of much small portions than the usual portions and there was no complimentary food except for 1 garlic naan. Instead of lying to customer they could’ve not offered a replacement. It was added insult to the trust in owner. Serving non vegetarian food instead of vegetarian and labelling the food as vegetarin is not a small error. Just very disappointed with the experience and resolution. I just hope this does not happen again.

Website first refused to display menu, subsequent attempts eventually showed menu although with extraneous information (which appeared irrelevant and did not match any previous order) 17:21 Placed an order for home delivery – address was requested and input!
Email confirmation received, showing collection!, within a couple of minutes.
17:22 email sent, never acknowledged, to highlight error
17:34 further email sent, strangely also never acknowledged! Should have worked out at this stage what was going on!
17:47 Able to phone contacted restaurant, Explained situation and basically told that I hadn’t made that order! before being cut-off. Immediately rang back and eventually was told that delivery would be made.
Delivery, when received, had most of the items ordered and probably cost somewhere near the price paid.
Will seriously consider before re-using.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! What a lovely restaurant. Food was delicious and quickly provided. Service was friendly and attentive! Portion size were a great size. This is going to become a regular when visiting Exeter! Utterly fab! The garlic rice and Lamb Podina….. please can I have the recipe?

Firstly I want to say this restaurant used to be amazing. I would frequently order and the food was always incredible. Based on the reviews in the past week and the food I had today something has clearly changed.
A majority of our food was flavourless, a lot of dishes heavily dyed to fake flavouring. Naan, chicken and bhuna was not good at all and nothing like we remember it. Also we found a hair in our Momo, which also was completely different to normal, dry and flavourless.

First time visiting Everest Tandoori tonight and will definitely be returning. Amazing food, portion sizes were very generous. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was great.
