Cant even give it a 1. Paid $9 for fries basically. Sandwich meal was thrown away. Not our cup of tea. Had to give it a 1 star in order to rate.

I went in to place an order and people that had called in their order that came in after I did was served first while I had to wait. Their prices for catfish were high,very high so I ended up getting a fish plate called whiting which was also high but not as high as the catfish. I lived two blocks from this place and when I got home the fries and hush puppies were cold, besides being cold the hushpuppies were very small and only got two with my meal. I was very disappointed with the food and service I received and the next time I want seafood I will go to Captain D’s. Their prices versus the food and service was price gouging at its best. I thought Zebs was a respectable restaurant but this one in general wasn’t and I hope this was just a bad night for them and not the norm but I may never know because I will think twice before going back to this individual location.

We had a lovely church Christmas gathering there on Dec. 11 th.
Service was beyond the norm which was really great for our older folks and we enjoyed the food!!
They gave us the corner section to ourselves and it worked our perfectly!
We plan to go again in the future.

Went here today for the first time in several months. We have enjoyed eating here for many years because the food was always good and fresh and the place is always clean. It was always a bit on the pricey side but the quality was there. However, since Covid, the place has really changed and not for the best.
First, there is a now a strange vibe with all the signs telling you what you *can’t* do, like “no credit cards”, “no drinks on the cedar”, “restrooms closed “, “dining room closed due to short staffing “, “do not sit in this section”, etc. The entry doors are literally covered with negativity. I don’t know, maybe tell me what you CAN do???
We ordered spicy chicken breast fillets and they upcharged an extra $1.20! Just to make them spicy? The tenders were hot and fresh but were very salty. The tea was always, I mean always, very good but today it was basically sugar water.
I really want Zebs to do well again and if they’d get back to being customer centered and stop with the negativity they may stand a chance. Probably going to scratch Zebs off the list until they rethink their business model……

This place has been in steady decline over the last couple of years. Higher prices, smaller portions and as another money saving idea, they have switched to cash only and closed the dining room. Be prepared to wait as a usual day only has 3-4 people working. Dixie Wings in Smiths Station only a couple of miles away is a much better option. 12/06/22 UPDATE: Zebs has finally shut down.

Truly deserves a zero. I wanted to place a to go order and I asked if they could bring it to the car so I didn’t have to go in considering what is going on in the world. You would think they would want you to not come in however the person on the phone said I could pay by phone but I have to come in bc they don’t ha e time..i ordered nothing. If you want local businesses to continue you will have to do better than this.. So we spent our money elsewhere..i will never return my 10 year business..

My wife wanted fish and her favorite restaurant wasn’t open so we ate here. At first I was a bit Leary because an empty parking lot at a restaurant is not a good sign. It turned out that the food was good we filled our bellies on the cheap. I guess in the bigger restaurants you pay for the atmosphere. If it’s just food then this is the place.

This place has the best friend chicken tenders I have ever had. I recommend the family breast filet with a dozen hush puppies on the side. Friendly people too! We usually have lots left over, so we toast the chicken tenders and fries the next day, and they are still so good.
