Stopped on our way through from WI to FL. We are SO glad we did! We were greeted by very friendly staff & the space is so clean and quaint. We got a brown butter latte & vanilla bean latte along with the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. All were to die for. Sad we don’t live closer because we’d come back all of the time!

On my initial visit years ago they were honestly mid. Brew was unremarkable but not bad; whole beans were overpriced and lackluster.
Was out and about when I decided to see them again and they’ve changed places, hired some baristas that know how to make a good coffee, and now have bespoke Roasts. Overall improvement. Look at this latte art! Very Gud Coffee with a nice atmosphere.

Best lattes and cappuccino around. Finally found me a coffee shop that serves a good cappuccino. Love the atmosphere of the shop as well. Skip the chain or drive-thru coffee shops and make the stop here and support a local business.

i recently visited the GUD Coffee Co at 133 N Patterson St, in Valdosta, GA. I went into downtown Valdosta and stopped for a light breakfast. I was nicely greeted and placed my order for a Danish and a coffee. It’s a very nice place in the lobby of a hotel. There were many people enjoying the morning. It is a place I will go back to. Very nice.

Such a great place. The coffee was great. So was the Jasmine Green tea. The smoothie tasted fresh, not too sweet, just right. (Peanut butter smoothie) I had a club sandwich and it was great, I normally don’t like aioli sauce but it tasted great in the sandwich. I also had the raspberry bagel. It was perfectly sweet. The service was great, there was barely a wait, and the atmosphere was nice. Can’t wait to come back here!

I’ve had good experiences here before, which is why this visit was disappointing. I ordered a hot matcha latte, but it was prepared with water that was too hot, resulting in a very bitter aftertaste. I politely explained this to the barista and asked for a different drink, noting that matcha is sensitive to temperature (similar to how overcooked spinach becomes bitter). I’ve ordered matcha here before and have also worked as a barista, so I’m familiar with proper preparation.

Instead of offering to remake or replace the drink, I was met with confusion and was told I would need to pay for a second drink. I understand mistakes happen, but good customer service means trying to make it right when they do. I wasn’t looking for an apology or an explanation of why I was “wrong,” just a simple effort to do right by the customer.

I ended up ordering a regular latte, which was much better, though I was told, “I don’t know if that will be much better,” which felt unnecessary given that it clearly was. This feels less like a one-off mistake and more like a training or management issue, either around customer service expectations or understanding the differences between preparing matcha and espresso drinks.

I’ve had a wonderful barista here in the past, which makes this experience stand out even more. You don’t have to be overly friendly or outgoing, but customers shouldn’t feel blamed when a drink isn’t prepared correctly.

This place was really nice inside vibes were great I had ordered the smoked salmon bagel and it was really good The only thing I did not like about this place was after you place an order she said we will call you when it’s ready me and my wife sat there for over 20 minutes wondering how much longer it would be so I finally got up to find out our coffee and food have been sitting on the counter the whole time and it wasn’t just us that this happened to. Overall it was good!

This coffee shop is absolutely adorable! The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Speaking of which, the coffee tasted really good—smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed.

What truly stood out, though, was the amazing customer service. The barista was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was just right. It’s clear they care about their customers, and it really made the experience special.

Overall, a cute place with great coffee and exceptional service. It was under construction when I went but do not doubt the service or coffee it does not take away from it at all.

Stumbled upon this place while in Valdosta on my way back to Miami from Atlanta looking for somewhere to work that didn’t have a Starbucks feel.

This place is perfect. I ended up spending the whole day here and getting so much work done but on top of that I was introduced to the best club sandwich I ever had.

Treys service was impeccable he called me by my first name and didn’t forget it. I couldn’t believe he even made the sandwich it was so good and I can’t stand tomatoes!!

Must check this place out! We stopped off on our way to Gatlinburg and will definitely make a point to stop here again on the next trip.

Great food and drink offerings prepared with focus on the little details. Great open space with whatever kind of seating you would desire for your visit. They have full tables for groups, high tops and a lounge area with couches and armchairs for reading or conversation.

They have a glass room that looked like it could be booked out for meetings or events.

Not sure but next to the bathrooms upstairs, there was a very large open hall that appeared that it could be booked out as well, it had an attached kitchen and overlooks the city square. All natural wooden floors. Elevator access as well.

The baristas were skilled and had a very good mix of speed and quality in mind with their preparation workflow. They were also very personable and you could tell they todo pride in their craft.

10/10.
