We shared the Brisket Mac and Brunswick Stew. Simply delicious! Brisket Mac was smokey and creamy — possibly the best we’ve ever had! The Brunswick Stew was a pleasantly spicy surprise. Warming chili heat with a mix of rich meaty flavors. We loved our dinner and can’t wait to catch another pop-up soon!

I’ve had them a few times at breweries in the Pittsburgh area. Good pulled pork, even better brisket. I’d give the pulled pork 8/10 and the brisket a true 9/10, compared against any top tier bbq joint in the south. What really tickled me most recently is the Spicy Carolina Gold sauce. If they ever bottle and sell it, I’ll take about a half gallon right off the bat. I ordered a second round of brisket not because I was hungry but because I wanted to drink that sauce.

I had this food at Trace Brewing, and so glad I did; I’m a mac-n-cheese lover, and this may have been the best I’ve ever had. It’s smoked slowly in the same giant smoker that the meat is put in, so it has a richer flavor than anything you could imagine. It’s dripping with both melted cheese and a good amount of cheese sauce, and you get enough for two servings if you don’t scarf down the entire thing in one go. I’ll be seeing where they pop up next, I have to try the brisket and ribs.
I’d say the only downside was waiting 10-15 minutes despite a line of 4 people ahead of me, but the man was taking care to put the food together, and it was well worth the wait.

This BBQ is excellent. They are frequently on the North Shore bike trail on the weekends. We tried it once and made a special trip back because it was so good. My family had the pulled pork which they loved. I’m a vegetarian, but was very happy with the mac and cheese, possibly the best I ever had, along with the smashed red potatoes. On top of how good the food was, the hot sauces are also great!

Driving through blawnox on the 4th of July and I see this heavenly smoke cloud in the air… then the smell hits my nostrils… I had to spin around the block and see what was going on… grabbed a pulled pork sandwich combo and a brisket sandwich. The combo adds their coleslaw and either smoked macaroni and cheese or red potatoes… man this place knocked it out of the park. Portions were massive. Like when I say massive I mean massive. Smoked macaroni and cheese is where it’s at! The meat was so tender and flavorful. Drove 15 minutes home with the food and it still burnt my hand taking it out. Hot, fresh, delicious. The gentleman working the smoker was super friendly even in the 87 degree heat. They had like 6 different bbq sauces so i grabbed them all to try. There’s something for everyone. Whether you like it plain or Carolina gold, or with some heat to it, they got you covered. So glad I drove by. Five stars easily. My teenager said it was fire. Which means he approved.

I seldom write a review but this one is really hard to not talk about. We got a brisket sandwich and half a rack of ribs and everything was extremely delicious! The meat was seasoned really well and soft to instantly dissolve in your mouth. 10/10! Will come here again.

I think this is the best BBQ my husband and I have ever had. We had a full rack of ribs, mac & cheese, along with brisket mac & cheese. Everything was amazing, the ribs had such a great dry rub that they didn’t even need BBQ sauce. We weren’t huge fans of the coleslaw but just our taste. We certainly recommend picking up some yummy food anytime you come across them!

Love the brisket and Carolina gold sauce! I wish they sell the bottle. 🙂 Brisket mac and cheese was so good. We are from Kansas City and have eaten a lot of good BBQ. The food was well paired with the beer from Dancing Gnome. Great service and great food!
