It had been more than five years since we stopped for Japanese food. The tempura was different from what we used to have in California but it was good. I had the salad, my husband had the Miso. He tasted the dressing on my salad but didn’t like it. He’s been searching for the “perfect” Asian dressing ever since his favorite Thai restaurant in Calif closed.
Our server was outstanding. Responsive, friendly and courteous. The atmosphere felt warm and cozy – it was very cold outside. I’m certain we will be repeat diners.

Who expects quality sushi in a strip center? I probably would not have stopped had our friends not recommended it.
The sushi rolls here are made to order and so artistically done. What lovely flower and bird decorations on our plates.
Whatever you order, they will come on an appropriately sized plate, platter, or even a boat. Beautiful presentation makes the start of your meal a celebration.
The Hawaii roll and Mango Tango roll were purely delightful. Like beef? The Cowboy roll adds an American surf and turf feel to a delicious sushi roll.
We found all the ingredients to be fresh and expertly prepared. We’ll be back.

Hands down the best sake house I’ve ever been to, and it’s become such a special place for me and my boyfriend!

Funny enough, the first time we came here was actually thanks to my parents, who introduced us to this hidden place. Since that first visit, we’ve been hooked and it’s been our go to spot! We’ve probably been here 30 times (not kidding), and the experience has been amazing every single time.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and often no wait time. The decor is simple and elegant, with little touches like the lucky cat that makes the whole place feel cute and welcoming. Even the bathrooms are always spotless, which we always appreciate!

Now for the main thing, the food and service. I’m a huge sushi lover, and their sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. My boyfriend is more of hibachi, especially the chicken fried rice, and he swears it’s the best he’s ever had. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, whether it’s sushi, hibachi, or appetizers.

But what truly makes this place stand out is the consistency. The staff is always kind, the food is always top notch, and we leave happy every time.

If you’re looking for a place with heart, great service, and food you’ll genuinely crave this is it! 10/10 Recommend. (Below are pictures of the chicken fried rice and butterfly maki me and my boyfriend got!)

Special thanks to the usual amazing server we always get, Sandy!! Thank you so much for your kindness and sweet smiles, you always make our experience so enjoyable!

I went to Sake House for lunch tins past Saturday with my family. We had a great lunc! The food was not only delicious but the size of the sushi was so much bigger than most restaurants. The service was great as well. This is a great Asian food restaurant a must visit. We will definitely go again and we highly recommend it. Keep up the good work!

Loved the vibe and decor of the place as well as the cute designed straws. The sushi was good, but the hibachi was to die for, the rice and lo mein were genuinely the best I’ve ever had. I would have preferred the dressing for the salad be on the side or just less, it was too overpowering to the point that I didn’t end up eating it. And I wish the calamari also had the sauce on the side, or a bit more as every piece didn’t have some. The service was attentive, but a bit dismissive of my boyfriend, yet made sure to give him the check. Other than wanting the sauces on the side and a bit confused about the odd gender treatment, it was a very nice meal.

The sushi was so delicious here! My girlfriend and I ordered the Seminole Maki, the Phoenix Maki, and the Pirate Maki; every roll was yummy, but the Pirate roll really stood out to us. The seared black pepper tuna was so good I was holding back tears when I finished it. Very fun and attentive staff, could not have asked for more, and at about $45 total I know I’ll be coming back for more!

The sushi and presentation here is great. But unfortunately the speed of service can be on the slower end.

We once ordered a hibachi dinner, and the waitress kept telling us that it was coming, but it never came, even after finishing our sushi and waiting for a 5-8 minutes. We ended up waiting longer to get it in a to go box. It was very disappointing. Luckily, they have been decent since that trip, and their sushi is just way too good.

My wife and I have been regulars for several years now (even back when it was Kiku). We’ve loved this place for years. They have gone down hill in recent months. They no longer do the BOGO they’ve always been known for. And the food portion has not increased. So what was once a place for good/decent sushi at a good price is now a place for the same rolls at 50% more price. AND, now they have paper straws!

In summary, same food at 50% more cost and paper straws. It’ll be a while before the wife and I return, if ever.
