Love the retro cafe atmosphere. Serve was great and quick. Food was prepared perfectly. We purchased cinnamon rolls to take home but my husbands was gone before we left the restaurant.

What a great classic cafe!
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Food was solid traditional cafe eats.
Breakfast was served up hot, quick and spot on. Places like Otto’s are disappearing off the map. Let’s keep this gem open for years to come.

I have to be honest, I typically do not leave reviews. However, after the consistent service in hospitality and great food at Otto’s, I feel the need to leave a more honest experience then “The Fight Club” very false interpretation of the best breakfast spot in town, HANDS DOWN!!!

The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, and the fastest I have ever had. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great service and great food consistently, with the best prices, but this restaurant truly does.

It is unfortunate that some blundering man felt the need to leave such a dishonest review of a fake “Fight Club”. I come to Otto’s with my girlfriend 1-2 times a week for breakfast and have never experienced anything but kindness from the owner/cook (Bill). He always comes out of the kitchen to ask if we enjoyed our food and tell a joke or 2. His heart is true gold and it shows through his food and his service, to say he thinks he is Gordon Ramsey is wild because he is definitely better!

The only bad experience is we have had was a waitress that appeared to be highly strung and not have her wits to her. There were few patrons in the restaurant, and she appeared to struggle with her tasks. Thankfully the owner noticed it was an issue and has since removed it.

The Biscuits and Gravy are one of my sons favorites from here. Not to mention, on Mondays we have tried other restaurants in town and Ottos is the best. You can go to Farmhouse and pay way more or to others in town and not get great quality food.

But instead of listening to reviews online, why don’t you come in and check them out. You order your breakfast and will have it within 5 mins! So I am going to end with this Thanking Bill and the waitresses that do such a good job!!!

THANK YOU, TRULY
A Customer that enjoys your service, food and prices!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Otto’s: The Breakfast Fight Club Nobody Asked For

The first thing that hits you at Otto’s isn’t the smell of breakfast it’s the “butter.” Or rather, whatever that yellow-dye soy spread is pretending to be. It coats your throat like regret, greasing your esophagus just enough to prepare you for the damage about to follow. It’s not flavor.. it’s a warning.

Then, just as you’re processing the crime against dairy, the soundtrack begins.
The cook at Otto’s thinks he’s Gordon Ramsay, and the poor waitress with the nose ring must’ve burned his trailer down in a past life because he spent the entire morning screaming at her like she owed him rent. Every curse word, every insult was less “kitchen” and more “open-mic night at anger management.” I sat there, stunned, wondering how a man that vile, unprofessional, and unhinged is still allowed to work around other people, let alone food.

The waitress with the nose ring, bless her, was a beam of light in the chaos. Calm, patient, and kind, she kept coffee cups full while being verbally beaten down by a man who clearly peaked in 1997. You could tell the place was wildly understaffed, but she carried it with grace.. part waitress, part therapist, part hostage negotiator.

Back to the food. The biscuits looked like they’d been rescued from a Walmart freezer section same taste, same chalky texture, same emotional damage. If you’ve ever wanted to experience dehydration by pastry, these are your biscuits. The yellow soy “butter” couldn’t even help.

The gravy? Imagine someone whispered the word flavor near a bowl of paste.. that’s it. Just beige regret on a sad plate in a dirty, hostile, trailer-park version of Hell’s Kitchen starring Ordon Ramsay, because the cook isn’t tall enough or kind enough to get to the “G.”

They have cinnamon rolls, my favorite treat, but they taste like something baked by an ex who still hates you. Sticky, dense, and somehow both dry and wet in the worst possible way.

No fruit. No freshness. Just sadness plated hot.

Meanwhile, the cook kept raging like a man possessed. I’ve worked under pressure, and I get that kitchens get loud, but this was something darker. It was cruelty, plain and simple. As a man of faith, I was genuinely appalled. Watching a grown man demean a kind woman in front of customers was stomach-turning and that’s before the food poisoning kicked in.

An hour later, my stomach launched its own protest. Let’s just say I left spiritually and gastrointestinally cleansed.. likely from the yellow-soy-battered generic bread that first greased the esophagus. Horrible.

Harry’s down the road is the antidote: real food, real kindness, no shouting. Don’t waste your time at Otto’s. It’s actually appalling and the main attraction, Ordon Ramsay, is despicable and vile.

Otto’s could be great… if they fired the cook, hired two more waitresses, and replaced the biscuits with literally anything else. Until then, it’s less “breakfast spot” and more “trauma reenactment with hash browns.”

My wife and I have lived another town for decades and thought we’d try Otto’s since we haven’t been there in years. Wow! We didn’t recognize the place. Much more room and very pleasant atmosphere. Our breakfast was great as well as the service. We will be vack.

The biscuits and gravy was mediocre. Packaged gravy and very dry biscuits. The waitress was friendly and fast. The gentleman (apparently the owners son) working the kitchen was rude, hostile, and grumpy to the waitress. He actually shouted at her and a customer said “blame me not her.” It made it feel very awkward. The diner is old and dirty, the blue office chairs are black with dirt and grime. The flooring is from decades ago and appears worn and unappealing, old, and dirty. I would not recommend this establishment for those reasons.

Just stopped by Otto’s for breakfast to go. It was delicious (as always) and the dining area looks great! I ordered the Philly Steak and Cheese omelette that they have on special right now. Outstanding food and wonderful service. I can’t wait to go back!
