If I could leave no star I would! I ordered a small vegetable lo mien. There’s absolutely no reason anyone should find bugs in their food! On top of that the vegetables were old tasting and mushy. Not signs of freshness whatsoever! Most definitely my last time getting food here! I’m pissed….

Nice little Chinese restaurant on South Tryon near Ayrsley. Ordered general tso’s chicken for lunch. Definitely enough food for lunch meal for only around $12. I thought there was inside seating but there isn’t so maybe there used to be at one point. Only waited about 5 minutes.

My meal was ordered at this location in error due to the similarity in name with my preferred restaurant. A call was made within the minute of the order however we were told that the food was already prepared and that they couldn’t cancel. Already prepared? How’s that? I wasn’t happy but picked up the order.
6 wings were actually 3 wings cut in half to make 6 pieces. The barbecue ribs were old and dry. The beef lo mein, the noodles were short and mushy. I do not recommend this place’s food for human consumption. $42 lesson learned never again.

I hate that they will not hold themselves accountable when they make a mistake. I get that theyve probably had issues with various people but you still shouldnt treat everybody the same. I placed an order for seasme chicken and add broccoli. Picked up my food get home no broccoli. I immdediately give them a call to let them know there was no broccoli. I even sent pictures and they called me a liar. He stated I could bring the food back that nite or bring it back the next day to have it remade. So in order to have a mistake that they made our option was to find something else for dinner just so they could see the food and remake it. They didnt even often to refund me for the broccoli that I didnt recieve. Just note yes it is true that the customer is not always right but when there is proof that you made mistake and still want to the customer to be inconvience is not good customer service.

We love fortune cookie 2! We order from here every few weeks and our food is always hot and fresh. They always get our order correct and usually remember us by order which is nice. I love this place because the staff is always so friendly and the food is ready so quickly. This is our go to take out when we don’t feel like cooking. Thank you for such a consistent experience.

I hate writing a bad review but this place needs to up their quality. If you don’t know what good Chinese food should be like, this place is for you. This is Americanized Chinese glop. Heavy sauces and lots of salt to cover mediocre cheap ingredients and the recipes are not true to the dishes. Ordered from a delivery service and with tip it was $60 for two people. They had a decent amount of stars so I figured we’d try it.
The steamed dumplings were pretty good but I think they were packaged. The sauce was very salty.
Hot and Sour soup was missing all of the ingredients that make it taste unique. No wood ear mushrooms, no roast pork, no bamboo shoots, no fresh scallions. Basically, a cheap egg drop soup with vinegar and chili flakes. Egg drop soup BTW was super salty and way too much corn starch.
Ribs were average. Very little glaze like nobody spent any time basting them but a puddle of grease underneath as seen in the photo.
Most disappointing was the Szechuan beef. I attached a picture of what it should look like. It is a simple dish. Beef flash fried with red peppers, hot peppers and scallion in a spicy sauce with peppercorn. PF Changs and Red Bowl makes it correctly.
What I got was whatever vegetables were lying in the bin. Broccoli, snow peas, corn. You name it but no hot peppers or scallions. All Thrown in the deep fryer until mushy with some beef chunks and then covered in some
Kind of brown generic corn starch based sauce.
Again, I hate giving you a bad review but this is blatant “use up whatever we’ve got ‘cause they won’t know the difference”. Most of dinners went in the garbage and for the money that’s just not right.

I just moved to the area and was told this was one of the top rated places for Chinese food so I went.
Egg drop soup was probably the best one I’ve had from a place, the chicken fried rice was good but it had alot of onions – so if you are not a huge fan of onions I would say light or none.
Dining room was weird and un-useful. Like why have a dining area but no servers and they don’t bring the food to you. Like I had to order at the counter then go back to counter and get all utensils. I get it if it was a quick service like panda express but it wasn’t so I thought that was odd.
But overall a good experience. Prices were decent. Will return to try sweet n sour chicken.

Decent food. Fast service. I ordered the triple delight extra spicy togo. Good portion size for the price. The beef is nice and tender, but chcken has been worked so much that it’s consistency is starting to taste rubbery. The sauce is a bit on the bland side. If they added a bit more sauce to their stir fry dishes the flavor would be perfect. For the price, quality, and portion this place is ok.

They don’t make your food fresh. You can tell because everything’s so damn stale. I gave them a second chance hoping they were just having a bad day but nope that’s just how they operate. I’m almost certain they deep fry their chickens in batches and let them sit under a hot lamp until an order comes in.
