First time visit Saturday a.m. around 930. Saw recommendations on Google maps. Didn’t disappoint. No alcoholic beverages, but quality of food compensated. Had biscuits n gravy with 2 eggs. Wife had The Papa. Outstanding!! Only suggestion to crew: Newcomers dont know they’re supposed to order at register first. When you give them menus and tell them to find a seat, most folks thing they will be waited on at table (happened to us and another couple). Maybe a sign or something. We will be back!

I’ve been to The Biscuit Joint twice now, and both times have been a great experience. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which makes a difference the moment you walk in. The food comes out fast, and everything tastes fresh. Greasy but in a good way.

The eggs were cooked perfectly exactly how I ordered them and the biscuits are nothing less than amazing. They’re soft and fluffy! If I had to mention one small thing, some items do lean a tad bit salty, so that’s just something to be aware of depending on your taste.

The space itself is pretty small and cozy, so on busy days you might have to wait for a seat. But honestly, it’s worth it or you can always grab it to go.

Overall, I’ve never been disappointed, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Cute little spot. Seating is limited so be prepared to wait. The cinnamon roll was delicious. The sandwich was very savory, needed to be more balanced. The biscuit was good. The best thing was the chorizo gravy by far.

This is my go-to breakfast spot during my work week. Fast, fresh food and a friendly staff! This place gives a “neighborhood gem” vibe, and the staff are very attentive (they remember the names of frequent customers ). I’ve had their breakfast platter, chicken biscuit, chicken & waffles, and their biscuit & gravy options. All were well made and tasty!

Small, local business with a desire to provide excellent service and tasty foods. It was obvious from the start. When my food was served up, I had the thought to ask for salt and pepper for my eggs. Instead, I just started eating. Wow, so full of flavor! I never needed to add anything. Tater-tots with sausage gravy and two (over-medium) fried eggs on top. The sprinkling of parsley made it all look appetizing. While I ate I watched a chef carefully making foods from scratch. I included a photo of him making their sauces, carefully measuring amounts via a scale.

Counter seating only – seats less than 15

We stopped here while visiting for a short bit in St. Louis and we’re so glad we did! Everything was excellent from the food to the service. Biscuits were to die for. The cinnamon roll was amazing and had such a unique flavor (maybe cardamom?!). Love the vibe. Love the food. Would definitely go back if we were ever in town again!

We had the breakfast sausage and it was delicious! Definitely limited seating but we went during the busiest time and had no issue getting a seat.

Stopped by The Biscuit Joint for breakfast and instead got an experience.

The French Toast was insane. I got a sage and mushroom biscuit and gravy and it blew my mind. They had some lemonade options that were perfect.

The staff was great and they had some great hip hop tracks playing. So good.

This would normally average out to a 3 star experience, but due to allergy misinformation, it has to be 2.

Went in for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. Website and reviews looked cute and we were excited to try some place new.

The space is cute – industrial coffee shop vibes, greeted cheerfully, everything smells good. It is, however, tiny, and all the seating is high top. It’s also LOUD. Difficult to hear yourself think or carry on a conversation.

It’s a walk-up order and then they bring food to you. We had a variety of things – tater tots, biscuits and gravy, GOAT chicken sandwich, OG breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon roll, and some coffee. The cinnamon roll was AMAZING. The tots were pretty good, but they were over-fried and very greasy. OG sandwich was good, not great. The chicken sandwiches are disappointing – was NOT expecting a thin, frozen chicken patty and jarred pickles sliced so thin you can’t taste them.

But the real problem was the sausage gravy. A member of our party has an onion allergy. We asked when checking out about the dishes we’d be sharing, and we were assured they would all be fine. The food came out, and there were onions cooked into the gravy! Thankfully, we check all our food before eating, but disregarding allergy inquiries is completely unacceptable. And on top of this, I am a gravy purist and don’t think it should have contained onions for culinary reasons either. It was also broken and had standing grease in it.

They only offer drip coffee, and it’s terrible. Weak and burned tasting at the same time.

10 toes down, from the top of STL Arch- this place is 5 stars. From the moment we walked in, this place was straight vibes. Great staff, even better food. If you’re looking for a place to hype you up to start your day- this is it. I never knew that Ms. New Booty while I eat my breakfast, is exactly what I needed. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We got the breakfast sausage biscuit & gravy and the cinnamon roll- left with our bellies full, souls satisfied, and ready to conquer the day.
