I don’t normally have high expectations for this brand, but this store was way worse than most. The staff was all in the back when we got there and we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the counter. The tables were terribly sticky. The place was filthy in general. The tea had soured, so I opted for the Sweet Lightning Mountain Dew. It had the syrup stream screwed up and was gross. I didn’t even ask someone to correct it, because the service was so shoddy. The staff was making an incredible amount of noise back in the food preparation area. Each time we needed anything, it took forever to get attention at the counter. And by the way, you folks are charges $3.49 for 4 hush puppies? Those take pennies to make at home, and I know LJS can procure ingredients for a fraction of what I can. I know there is overhead to be considered, but WOW.

I decided to treat myself to lunch out & chose Long John Silver’s. I went through the drive through for convenience. I didn’t check my order until I got home. It was disgusting. It smelled like it had been cooked in old oil. It was so overdone it was inedible: dark, thin, dry. The French fries did not fare any better. They were awful and overcooked. The only part of the meal that was almost palatable was the hush puppies and that was just barely. I loved LJS all through my childhood. Today was absolutely unbelievable and so disappointing that I spent my hard earned money on a meal I couldn’t eat or enjoy & was never even offered a senior discount .

I ordered a 2 piece fish meal and added 2 pieces of chicken. Since I waited over 20mins, they gave me an “extra piece of fish.” It’s a good thing since they completely forgot the chicken, and I only got like 5 fries!

I did not go in.I ordered from long john silver’s and the food was absolutely disgusting.It tasted like they hadn’t changed their grease in two weeks with fish being fried.They should really change their grease out.At least every other day or every three days.But I will not be going back

Went to the drive thru, had to repeat my order of 1 meal 3 times before they got it right. They got the drink wrong and argued with me instead of fixing it. I ended up giving them the drink back, grabbing a cup from my car and going in to the fountain to get what I ordered. All I could taste was way too much salt on the fries. It was like they just took the lid off and poured it on. 1 chicken was good, the other was like chewing a dog toy. The fish was over cooked. The guy at the window was rude, incompetent, and cussed. This was around 8:30pm 1/16/25.

The fries and fish tasted to me like they were not cooked in fresh grease (whatever kind they use). Hush puppies were great as well as the crispies. Will still return there because it’s the closest to where I live (20 miles away).

Staff is not friendly. Food was old and over cooked. Place smells like pee and the bathroom was a mess. They forgot part of our order. This is at 530pm.
