Great Italian restaurant! I highly recommend the food here and drinks. Everything is made with love from the kitchen and it is all very fresh! Great pasta and desserts. Very popular place! Great place for families or a first date

For such a small, quaint place in Ithaca, the experience was wonderful.

My partner and I took friends out for dinner here during peak hours of the evening for dinner. Not only was the food phenomenal – so were the staff! We had the pleasure of having Jess take care of us who offered her honest opinion on recommendations, was prompt and very bubbly and welcoming to us. She was an amazing waitress!

The food arrived at our table fresh, hot and orderly, and despite the smaller table space for a party of four, it wasn’t cumbersome.

With the experience we had, I will gladly return on our own or with friends to enjoy the food and service this cute hole-in-the-wall spot has to offer. Truly a rarity and a spot any foodie who craves Italian will enjoy!

Family trip to Finger Lakes, stopped by for dinner. The reviews did not lie!!

The ambience and vibes were immaculate. More importantly, the food!!! The pasta dishes, specifically, spicy vodka were 11/10.

If you’re in the area, this is a must try!!

Just loving to Travel
I travel and eat out a lot. I have to say this place is great. Every time I eat here I just love it. The chicken parmigiana is the best. I have had the pizzas the are great as well. It’s a small restaurant and always packed. Stop in you won’t regret.

I was in town visiting my son who attends Cornell and he wanted to try this place. Wow – what a pleasant surprise and first rate meal. The food was legit fantastic and I’ll stop back in when I’m back in town.

Was this our best pasta on American soil? Probably. Cooked “al dente” to perfection, with simple ingredients that showed off their deep flavor profile. Friendly service too, and fast. We haven’t had any drinks but they looked tasty and generous

A very cozy and vibrant place to have dinner. I went there with my friend, and we both really enjoyed our food. They also give you coloring pencils to draw with while waiting for your food, which was so cute.

As an Ithaca local Thompson and bleaker is by far my favorite restaurant in this town, so it was clearly the only choice for my boyfriend and I’s valentines dinner, the atmosphere is intimate and quiet despite the fact that the tables are slightly crammed together, and although it was very busy our server was very friendly and took our order quickly. Our food did take a bit coming out but that was to be expected as it was the busiest night of the year. We ordered the meatball appetizer, the vodka roni pizza, and the daily special pizza, all the food was delicious, and we both highly recommend the meatball appetizer!

Wow. Stunningly good Italian restaurant in the lovely Ithaca Commons. The vodka penne was soft as a feather, tasty with just a bit of a kick, with fresh parm on top. I will crave that until we’re back in two months.
The margherita pizza was just as good – soft crust, wood-fired, with EVOO, oregano, basil and mozzarella in a great red sauce.
The pasta dishes are served family style. We had three hungry people and had an appetizer, one pasta and the pizza – and had plenty for leftovers.
Excellent customer service from front to back. Nice wine selection, too – a Tempranillo was the perfect complement. Highly recommend.

Updating 8/24 that they have a new location but the food still delivers. The pasta, pizza – and the bread bites and whipped ricotta appetizer- were outstanding. The new place is bigger and brighter, so they can get more people inside though it isn’t as cozy … but it’s a great spot with a pay parking lot next door.
One thing – if you sit at the bar, be careful. The bar stools tip over at least once a night…
