Unfortunately we will not be going here in the future. We spent 23 dollars for 5 shrimp, 10 leafs of spinach and some spaghetti with butter garlic sauce. Could have purchased ingredients and got 10 massive shrimp from HEB and done better myself at home. I know times are tough but you can get shrimp and chicken from Olive Garden and it’s far far more for a better price. I say it’s unfortunate because we have had good experiences in the past but for the cost of food this is a home made or less level dish.

Our recent visit was largely a fantastic success, showcasing a kitchen that clearly knows its way around both classic comfort food and more ambitious dishes.

We started with the Fried Pickles, and they set a high bar for the rest of the meal. They arrived golden brown and incredibly crispy, without a hint of sogginess. The batter was perfectly seasoned, and the pickles inside were tangy and hot. The real star of this appetizer, however, was the ranch dressing. It was delicious.

For our mains, we hit several home runs:

· The Chicken Salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious. It wasn’t an afterthought salad; the ingredients were quality and it was clear it had been prepared with care.
· The Cuban Sandwich was absolutely excellent. Pressed to a perfect crunch, with the right balance of savory pork, melted cheese, pickles, and mustard. It easily rivals versions you’d find in more metropolitan areas.
· The Pepper Steak was, in a word, amazing. Tender, packed with flavor from the pepper sauce, and cooked exactly to order. This is a must-try dish for any meat lover.

And let’s talk about the bar. I ordered a couple of Old Fashioneds, and they were wonderful. They were strong, balanced, and not overly sweet. It’s a great sign when a local grill pays such close attention to its cocktail program.

The only dish that didn’t quite live up to the others was the Shrimp Scampi. While the shrimp were cooked well, the dish overall was a little bland. It lacked the punch of garlic, lemon, and herbs that defines a great scampi. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it paled in comparison to the flavor packed dishes surrounding it.

The food was good with large portions. The chicken fried steak was the real deal, just exactly like grandma’s. The fries we e e nice and crispy with none of that oily, old grease residue. We ordered 2 appetizers and both were meh, as were the mac and cheese side dish. The deviled eggs were boiled eggs with a squirt of mayo and bacon topping, and the fried pickles were nothing special. Our sweet tea and coke were perfectly sweetened, and the burgers were huge. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Sunday mimosas, and a bloody Mary bar were cheap. I’d go back, but remember not to order sides.

Wow! This is a great place with great food and service. We came in with a very large group and they served us so well. I had the swiss mushroom burger with onion rings. The burger was very good and the onion rings were excellent. They also had the best coke I have had in years. Everyone had great things to say about their food, too. Thank you! You do need bigger holes in your salt and pepper shakers.

This spot was recommended by many locals and we had to try it. So, after visiting a nearby lavender farm, we headed to Black Creek. We were immediately seated for a party of seven for lunch. Service was impeccable! Ordered a couple of appetizers and some margaritas to start. The house margarita was top shelf quality—would definitely recommend. The burgers were cooked to order and perfectly seared. Many options on the menu from salads and sandwiches to larger dishes like shrimp scampi. Will definitely go back to try more items and cocktails on the menu. Only recommendation is to improve the indoor temperature. It was very warm in the dining area. Ainsley was a great server!

The food here was absolutely great. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I definitely recommend dining here. Nice gem service was great. We dinned on a Tuesday evening, it was very relaxed, not crowded. Had music playing not loud, you can still have a conversation. Service was great. Our server was very attentive to us. I will say it was a little warm inside A/C may not have been working 100% but still comfortable. Food can’t say enough. I had the Pepper Steak. Fantastic!!! Little spicy with the fresh jalapeños stuffed inside but would definitely order that again. It was a large chopped steak patty. Shrimp scampi came with 5 large shrimp and was cooked great. Had lots of wine sauce. Recommend asking for some garlic toast with it. If you are in the area again, it would be worth the stop or even the drive to enjoy great food served here. I attached photos of our meals. Sorry about the fried pickles. We are half before I thought to take a photo. Hopefully this helps you. If so please give me a like .
