This place was great. We sat outside and Keely was our server! She was so friendly and answered our many questions with a smile. It’s been a loooooong time since we’ve eaten somewhere that everything ordered was PHENOMENAL! Usually stuff tastes like frozen bar food…not here!! We got the hot pimento dip with chips and pickles. There are no words to described how delicious and unique this was. There were 3 in our party – we each ordered different items… and each entree was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. You must try this place.

The best bar in town by far. The best place to have a drink, meet people, dance, and enjoy the company of friends all in the same spot. It is the best in the warmer months when the patio is full. Fair prices for being the premier bar in Blacksburg. Beware of the rail:not for taste but for feeling. Very friendly staff. Have made countless memories here over the years.

Michelle was our waitress. She was amazing and also took really good care of us. I was surprised because I expected the food to be greasy but actually not. My wrap tasted like a home made wrap. I ordered grilled veggies as my side dish and it really tasted super good.

Said the $6 cover was silly (to a friend, not me he bouncers) and they told me I swore at them and would not allow me into the bar. Asked to speak to a manager, was treated rudely, told I was a liar, and not allowed to even be in the restaurant. The two male “bouncers” were extremely hostile, rude, lied about the interaction, and laughed in our faces. I am visiting Blacksburg and was told this was the bar that I visit. I have never once been treated so hostilely or rudely in my entire life. This place is not worth a dollar cover and the staff was so rude I could not believe my ears. There are many lovely bars in the area with staff who welcomed you with southern hospitality. I recommend giving them your business.

Came down to Blacksburg for the day and got my BBQ fix at Bottom of the Stairs. Great food, service and perfect day to sit out and enjoy the perfect Blacksburg weather! Would highly recommend.

I think it is one of the most happening places in Blacksburg with so-so music, a good space and seating. It has a small dance floor mostly crammed with people. Best for after party drinks and hangouts.

Went there on a Tuesday night, happened to be Karaoke night! It has a nice vibe and a good beer selection. It’s definitely an undergrad environment. It felt awkward for a pair of mid thirties dudes hanging out on a weekday night because it was the only place open past midnight.
