Local chain café serving unique pastries and sandwiches.
Didn’t know about Revival until last year, but since my first visit, I’ve been coming here regularly for breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches run on the smaller side for the price, but the quality makes them worth it. My favorite is the Jimmy Pesto, which comes with egg, feta, and their housemade muffins. The muffins are soft, porous, and perfectly engineered to soak up every drop of the sunflower seed pesto. It’s a flavor bomb that makes you forget you just spent $12 on something the size of a hockey puck. Of the other specials I’ve tried, the fried chicken sandwich was solid. I’m less convinced by their pastries overall, but the coffee cake was my favorite so far.
This location is close to Davis Square, so it can get a bit crowded, though they do open up a small outdoor patio when the weather’s nice, which helps.

The coffee tasted good, but it felt overpriced for the size. The “Salt-N-Pepa” egg sandwich was very disappointing. The egg tasted processed and microwaved, and I stopped eating after 2 bites. The highlight was the pastries. The coffee cake and blueberry muffin were both solid. Overall, not a great experience, and not somewhere I’d hurry back to.

Amazing, beautiful baristas. Anna, Nick and Kylie were so sweet and welcoming. Felt like home! Would definitely come in more often. AND they serve espresso with sparkling water on the side. Bagels are great.

So to truly understand the amazingness of this cafe you have to know that I am morally averse to egg whites, green vegetables, or standing for extended periods of time. Yet somehow this place can get me to wolf down a Bageliscious breakfast sandwich (containing not only egg whites but excessive broccoli of all things!) while standing in the corner during their busiest times thanking the gods that I am so fortunate to live within walking distance of this glorious place. Every human I have interacted with there is a delight and makes the experience even better. 12/10 on a scale of five stars! Don’t ever change (unless that change is to make a soy-free bagel so I can bring my partner to experience your joy too)

A neighborhood favorite. Coffee is good and their food options are tasty as well! Pretty small, might not be the best if you’re looking to get some work done especially during peak hours. I counted 4 tables inside.

I go here pretty often and the food is always great but I really really really wish they would put more schmear on their bagels! Almost every other bagel place in the area gives you enough cream cheese to coat the bagel inside and out but here it looks like they’re rationing a single 12oz tub for 100 people

You are required to order online, which I didn’t realize until I had already walked all the way over. They make you order via the website and for my one breakfast sandwich on a Saturday around 11:30am the wait was 20 minutes. So I left to go get a coffee to kill time and came back.
I ordered the Jimmy pesto, which was on a homemade English muffin with pesto, pickled red onion, feta, and spinach. The egg is a square egg “cake” (not a single fried egg) but it was fluffy if not especially flavorful. Overall the red onions were the key to this sandwich which was a bit rich (the muffin was very greasy which you can see in the photo). For $7 all in I think it’s fine but probably won’t order again.
To go only, a few picnic tables in the parklet and a few more two seaters next to the restaurant, but no heaters or protection from the wind.

Cutie little coffee shop. Brewing a variety of their own beans, specialty local roasters, and guest roasts from across the country. Delicious breakfast and lunch items as well as perfect pastries, croissants, and treats. 10/10 recommend. Fun and friendly staff too! Love their seasonal drinks especially the rose and lavender lattes.
