Fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, delicious, and creative. Lauren, our server, was attentive and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. Chef Byron personally spent time with us, explaining his creations and clearly taking pride in every dish.
We started with the shrimp polenta appetizer — perfectly cooked shrimp over creamy, flavorful polenta — and the garlic bread, which was absolutely incredible, especially when dipped in the homemade marinara. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and tender, and the risotto was rich and beautifully balanced. The chicken piccata might just be the best I’ve ever had — tender, bright, and full of flavor.
We finished with the tiramisu, the perfect ending to a meal that hit every note. From start to dessert, everything was outstanding.
This place is truly a hidden gem — the kind of restaurant that won’t stay a secret for long. Go now before it’s impossible to get a reservation! Thank you, Chef Byron, for a five-star meal and an experience to remember.

Service was outstanding. Everything tasted great. Cocktails were amazing. Appetizers, entrees and cocktails were reasonably priced. I did feel the salad and desserts are a little pricey for the portion size but the fact that the rest isn’t overpriced made up for it. The dining area is small which I think helps create a very attentive service experience. They designed the place and atmosphere with every detail in mind, from silver rest to purse holders for the table, etched glasses and leather menu & check/bill holders. We will definitely be back!

My first thought of this place was – amazing marketing and so cute. The Winey Bride is much more than just that. We are big foodies and we were SO impressed. All the staff was amazing personal and over the top. We will be back and it is a top favorite now.

Really great food, but it was the service and atmosphere that really sets this place apart. The chef was very visible in the dining room and very personable. It felt like being a guest at his house, rather than being in a restaurant. The waiter was having fun, but was still very attentive. Upscale food with very much a “let’s have fun” vibe.

We just had our Valentine dinner here tonight. It was our first time and we were not disappointed! Everything was delicious! We had charred French bread and the shrimp appetizers, Caesar and Caprese salads, chicken piccata and chicken Marsala. They also had a dessert special that isn’t served often. It’s all fresh and you can tell. The staff is attentive, friendly, and Chef Byron makes it a point to speak to each table. The atmosphere is intimate, which gives the staff the opportunity to be so attentive and talk to you. The bar area is amazing! We will be back!

A wonderful addition to the Reading area and Cincinnati in general for Italian restaurants. The atmosphere is charming and the owner and staff were all attentive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable surroundings. You are greeted with a glass of prosecco to start out the evening. We shared the grilled Sixteen Bricks bread with olive oil and spices along with a Caesar salad. We also had the homemade pasta options with the carbonara which had a silky sauce and bright green peas. We also tried the short rib ravioli which the beef was excellent in flavor but the pasta was a bit too think which made it a bit to hard and chewy, it could have simply been that batch. We filled it with the tiramisu that was innovative with the sauce in the side. The lemon cookies at the end a pleasant surprise. The owner was delightful to speak with as was the staff. Definitely worth checking out.

We had the best experience at the Winey Bride! I never write reviews but have to share and hype up this new place. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and impressive bar and cocktail list. They can make all of their cocktails non-alcoholic using N/A spirits without otherwise deviating from the recipe and other details – which is super cool, also not anything I’ve seen before in such a thoughtful and intentional way. My friend and I both had the Lady of Lace (highly recommend) with one being N/A, and they were both great. We went mid-wedding dress shopping but will be coming back to the district just for this spot.

Terrific, quaint, privately owned Italian restaurant. Its not every restaurant that the chef (local Reading area resident, trained in France) comes to each table and discusses the menu.
We enjoyed the Runaway Bride drink-delicious. Garlic bread with house made marinara and Grilled Shrimp on Polenta was a perfect way to start our meal. We both had the Ceasar salad that was outstanding. Ihad the Picatta a Limone. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Kinda wish we had room to try dessert. Maybe next time. Recommend reservations as this is a small establishment.

Beautiful interior, great cocktail bar, and juicy burgers. Dedicated grinder and espresso machine for coffee cocktails (which are exquisite), and local draft selection. Thorough, tasteful touches throughout, from leather menu sleeves to etched wine glasses and granite silverware rests.
Excellent service to boot. 5/5.

I highly recommend The Winey Bride if you’re visiting the Bridal District! We made a reservation after wedding dress shopping, and it was the perfect spot to celebrate. The atmosphere is modern and beautifully designed, and the food was absolutely delicious. The general manager, Kenia, was incredibly kind and welcoming—she even brought us champagne to celebrate me saying yes to the dress! There’s truly no other place like it in the Bridal District.
