This little diner in Chesterland is truly a gem and has been a favorite of mine for years. It has that wonderful small-town atmosphere where you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The staff is consistently warm and friendly, and what means the most to me is that they genuinely remember their customers. They remember me when I come in and even remember how I like my food, which is such a rare and thoughtful touch.
The food itself is excellent and never greasy like you often find at smaller diners. I follow a gluten-free diet and have other dietary restrictions, and they are always incredibly accommodating and kind about it, never making it feel like an inconvenience.
One small but standout detail is their fresh fruit bowl. It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Instead of the usual mix of grapes and bananas, you get beautiful, high-quality fruit like strawberries and blueberries, which really speaks to the care they put into even the simplest dishes.
Everything I’ve ever ordered has been consistently delicious. Great food, genuine hospitality, and a true small-town feel make this place something special, and I’m so grateful to have it in our community.

We visited the Silver Skillet for the first time this summer and we have been back many times since. This is our new favorite place to grab breakfast. The service is always fast and efficient and the food always tastes great. I personally am not a huge breakfast person, but I never fail to clear my plate here. Love the natural lighting in the dining area. Overall a great place with great food and great people. Always recommending it.

The food at this hometown-style breakfast spot was undeniably delicious, a perfect treat for a lazy Sunday morning. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, but that might explain our long wait of over 20 minutes for our meal, despite the restaurant not being busy when we arrived (it did get busier by 10 a.m.). Thankfully we were munching on the gigantic cookie that we grabbed on our way to the table to survive the waiting time. The regulars seemed to get a warmer welcome, and it felt like the smiles were saved for those familiar faces rather than newcomers.

Breakfast was delicious, I ordered blueberry pancakes. My husband had country fried steak. He said it was very good with homefries and toast. Coffee was perfect! Chrystal was our waitress and was very friendly and super ! I would absolutely recommend this place, especially the small town feel❤️

Chesterland is lucky to have this restaurant. Friendly staff, great classic diner standards, as well as surprising dishes, ranging from chicken a la king, to sous vide pork chops, to clam bakes. The turkey dinner makes everything better, and the chili reminds me of comfort food (in the best way). Salad portions are always generous and even the veggie wraps are good with fun surprises, such a fresh sprouts and interesting pickles.
