We went there on a weekend. The atmosphere was welcoming. They received us warmly. The food was tasty. We tried ‘Thai Fried Rice’ and ‘Bangkok delight.’

When to this family ran Thai Restaurant with my family on our Victoria, BC Trip. Service, Food, and the Atmosphere was awesome.

Enjoyed a great lunch at @BANGKOK Modern Thai Cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. We had the seafood pad Thai and a veggie beef stir-fry with rice — both dishes were tasty and satisfying. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality.
The only downside is the location — the building looks a bit run-down and doesn’t reflect the excellent food and good service inside.

What a wonderful place! All of the staff were incredibly warm, pleasant and accomodating! It felt very clean, and there was lots of beautiful art to look at. Our food came out in a timely manner, and tasted DELICIOUS! We had 2 lunch combos: 1 red curry and 1 cashew chicken – they were both incredible and we highly recommend them! The lunch combo came with a tasty coconut soup and delicious spring role. We highly recommend this spot! We have definitely found our go to place for Thai!

The restaurant was a recommendation from the owners wife who is a practitioner at Rungs Thai massage and it was exactly what we needed post massage. The food was so fresh, authentic and perfect portions. The owner was very lovely, welcomed us in right away and chatted with us about the cuisine and the different Thai region’s. We had the Tom Kha soup, the Bangkok noodles, the Thai iced tea and the Butterfly pea flower tea (this was such a cool drink experience, it changes colour!) and we are very eager to come back and try more of the menu!

Best Thai food in Victoria! The restaurant run by a Thai lovely family. Free coconut ice cream shows how sweet they are . Their foods were amazing. We all love Thai fried rice. Their weekly special Pink noodle soup was authentic and tasty. Every dish cook one by one so we could choose the spice level. The dinner portion is generous. The decorations are very lovely.

Had yet another amazing take out dinner from this cute little authentic Thai restaurant!! Everything was super fresh, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious !! The house made spring rolls are the best we’ve ever had, super crispy without being greasy and the filling is so good! We also ordered a container of their in-house made peanut sauce for home use, which is unlike any other peanut sauce we’ve tried…it’s the perfect thickness, made with actual peanuts (unlike most out there that are just watered down sweetened store bought peanut butter). It’s a must try if you love peanut sauce!!

This was a nice find for our family. No show off, nothing fancy, but good friendly servers and a nice cook cooking some quality food. I’ve been to Thailand several times and had authentic Thai food. This restaurant’s food is almost authentic. Very flavorful and spice levels were not Canadianised. :-). Overall my family enjoyed food and just a nice time at the restaurant. It’s quite in the corner end northern part of the the downtown and away from the real commercial areas and probably that’s why not many have seen it or go to often, but this place is a must try. It’s better than Baan Thai that adds skin in the minced chicken dish. So my family highly recommends this restaurant 🙂
