Walking into Coffee Therapy feels like stepping back into my roots in Ethiopia. The moment you enter, you are enveloped by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, which instantly transports you to familiar times. The decor is warm and inviting, adorned with elements that reflect Ethiopian culture, while the soothing background music adds a nostalgic touch that resonates deeply with me, as I grew up listening to similar tunes.

I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, which was nothing short of delightful. As I settled into the cozy atmosphere, I took a moment to savor my drink while waiting for my cousin. The music playing in the background gave me butterflies, reminding me of cherished memories from my childhood.

The barista was exceptionally friendly and eager to help. She made wonderful recommendations, and my cousin opted for the almond matcha, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service here truly adds to the overall experience, making you feel at home.

If you’re looking for a cafe that combines excellent coffee with a warm, inviting atmosphere, Coffee Therapy is definitely worth a visit!

I stopped by Coffee Therapy on a Friday morning and was immediately impressed by the transformation from its former hookah lounge days.

The new concept as a neighborhood coffee shop is exactly what the area needs.

The pumpkin spice latte was exceptional–beautifully crafted and set apart from the typical PSL. The butter croissant was equally delicious, flaky and fresh. The service was friendly, and you can tell the staff cares about creating a welcoming atmosphere.

I settled into one of the small booths and got a couple hours of work done in comfort. The vibe is cozy without being cramped, and it’s quiet enough to focus while still feeling warm and inviting. I can already see this becoming one of my regular work spots.

I’m definitely coming back to try one of their cocktails, and I’m rooting hard for this place to succeed. Supporting local businesses like Coffee Therapy–places that clearly put thought and care into what they’re doing–is always a win.

Went for happy hour on a Saturday. Food was terrible hookah was really good. The raspberry martini not good. Taste like juice. The pomegranate cocktail was delicious. Great prices during happy hour. Cute spot to kick it and chill. Parking was difficult. But free. Tacos were cold. Chicken fried too hard .

Such a vibey spot! Very low key, music was good but a little loud. Service was great everything came out fast. The food was hot and good. Philly Cheesteak was good but a little spicy. The peachy margarita was so good! Perfect date night spot.

Very good place to relax for a good hookah and a few drinks. The Hennessy margaritas are good and I had another drink that’s made with Hennessy but I can’t remember the name… it was good as well. They don’t prepare the food there bc it’s a bit small but I didn’t mind. The tenders were good with a really nice flavor but that lamb burger was divine! It is heavenly! Omg! It was so good that I ordered another but was too full so I took it to go. It was still good after I warmed it up once I got home! I’ll definitely be back for lamb burgers. It’s one of the best lamb burgers I’ve had!

Good music, good vibes, good food, good drinks & good hookah. Elsa is almost always my server whenever I come – and she is attentive and makes sure I’m taken care of.

Touted as a coffee & wine bar by Google; let me assure you, it is NOT. I came here to hang out for a while with a glass (or 2) of wine and get some work done. While yes, they do have electrical outlets at each booth so, in theory, you CAN work here but the R&B (only!) music is MUCH too loud, there is just ONE Chardonnay on the menu, the hookah smell was overpowering and the demographic is NOT diverse (I was the only white person here). Further, the square footage is much too small to allow hookah but alas, they do. Lastly, anyone who is into wine knows that white varietals are not served stemless. Heat is terrible for Chardonnay and changes the overall taste; hence, the reason it is ALWAYS served in a stemmed wine glass. Not the case here. Clearly, they are NOT a wine bar at all.

I’m giving it two stars, instead of one, because my server was quite nice and the establishment was indeed very clean and well maintained. However, it’s absolutely not the same environment Google described.

Where do I even begin! Therapy Too is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta! From start to finish the experience is always amazing. Free parking in front of the restaurant, great customer service, lit DJ, beautifully decorated spot with nice art, the bathrooms are cute and clean as well…last but not least, the food and drinks are 10/10!! Yes, they have hookah which may be a turn off for some, but Therapy Too is more upscale than the average hookah spot in Atlanta and they were tactful with the seating arrangement so it won’t affect your experience if you’re a non-hookah smoker. My boyfriend and I go there frequently and just celebrated our anniversary there! Shoutout to Fatima who took her time and expertise making sure we had good pictures to mark the occasion. If you’re looking for a new go-to spot this is it!
