Wow heading home to riverside and came across this mexican style kitchen restaurant. And I must say this place feels like home. The food was amazing. Great service and a beautiful atmosphere I plan on bringing my family next time. I sediment recommend checking this place out.

We went on a Sunday morning, around 10am. I read reviews before going to get a feel for it. My SIL choose this place and usually all the places she recommendes are horrible. I read that food takes a while and it’s pretty much a self serve place. You order up front and pay in advance, then wait for your food.

It’s a place that is trying hard but failing. The place is small and this time around they had someone moving around the dinning room taking food to tables and “cleaning” tables. I say “cleaning” because the tables are left dirty and you have to go up to the gentleman and ask for the table to be clean. We ordered a breakfast burrito, my 2 kids had the little breakfast (an egg, bacon and a package), and I ordered a carne asada torta. I thought something simple can’t be messed up.

Place was packed so food did take a while but it did take longer than other places. However, the food was not worth the wait. My kids bacon did not taste like bacon. It was sweet. Not sure what kind it was or if they trying to do something fancy with it, but it’s bacon, it good on its own! Both pancakes were burnt and the add cheese on top of the egg. Luckily the kids did not mind the cheese on the egg. My wife’s burrito was good but nothing special. We definitely have had better elsewhere. My torta was bad. The meat had no flavor or seasoning. The bread was odd, it felt soft but also wet. The avocado was also not ripe. It was bitter and with a lot of lemon juice.
The place is pack but I’ll be honest. It’s probably from people who don’t eat out and know what good food taste like. This is not it.

I visited this restaurant with my wife for breakfast and we are so happy to recommend it, great Mexican food.
I had the chilaquiles con huevos, super good with a delicious salsa.
My wife had the pancakes and we both loved them. Great coffee, and other authentic Mexican dishes.
Excellent customer service, clean restrooms and nice music.
They have $0.99 Taco Tuesday and Thursday!

I’ve been ordering from here for years prior to the recent revamp, but I’m really loving the new menu! The food is still delicious as ever (the meats are SO GOOD), there are plenty of vegetarian options, and the plating is always really pretty when we order to dine-in. The prices are fair and the deals make everything even more worth it. The coffee is delicious and we’ve been having fun trying the different flavors. This is my go-to spot for brunch/lunch right now. Highly recommend!!!

JUST walked out from having breakfast. Its hyped up. It was a one and don’t for me.
1. Dryyyy chilaquiles. I had to ask for salsa… and then wait like 30 minutes for the salsa
2. Community syrup? 1 syrup bottle FOR THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT
3. Same owners. It used to be Bukanas tacos. You’d think that they’d know to staff the place correctly.
4. Good latte. A little sweet, but good.
5. Good pancakes, but no syrup.
6. Server guy. He was picking up tables, cleaning and serving. The guy was kind, patient, he was trying. Owners, this man needs a raise! And help!
7. Wait time. After ordering at the counter, we waited about 40 minutes. Food came out warm.
8. Self seating. First come first serve. Tables do get taken immediately if you’re not sitting at them.

We had to wait 45 minutes to get our food only to find out they served some “influencers” in 15 minutes that ordered 10 minutes after us. We only have 30 minutes for lunch and usually get served pretty quickly. You just lost our business for good and we’re letting our company know that they shouldn’t go there either. That was a very costly mistake you made. We had been eating there at least once a week for years and we have at least 6 others that frequent there. You will notice loss in business soon. A very poor decision on managements part that you will regret soon. What a shame.

This place is so cute! It’s clean and newly remodeled. The staff is great, they remember people’s names and our orders. They went through a name and concept change with a more expansive breakfast menu but all of their food is so good with great flavor and you can tell it’s all fresh. They have a great coffee menu, their Spanish and horchata lattes are currently my favorite. It’s a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner by yourself or with family and friends. Highly recommend, don’t miss out!
