Pretty basic for this type of “Mexican” food. The ones in San Diego are definitely better than the ones in LA, but that’s for another day. Ordered the taquitos supreme, beef taco, beef tostada and kids bean and cheese combo.
The great: The serve yourself salsa bar and bean and cheese burrito. Can’t really mess that up either though.
The good: asada on the taquitos, beef taco and fries (light and crispy.
The bad: beef on the tostada was really dry and salty and GF didn’t like the taquitos. Sour cream was watery and other toppings didn’t do it for her.
Worth a stop for basics when in the area, but not enough to go out of my way.

The three rolled taquitos were perfect, indoors the smell of grease was a bit strong but the outside patio area was great. This location has a self serve salsa bar, plus sliced cucumber, chilis in vinegar, lemons, which was great.

Love Los Albertos! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are super reasonable. The staff is friendly and welcoming every time. My favorites are the crunchy tacos, nachos, and the pepino limón agua fresca — so, so good!

Great machaca burrito but when I tried the horchata there was no sugar couldn’t taste any cinnamon! I don’t know who makes the horchata because they should taste it or if it’s pre mixed but still should be checked. The burrito saved your fifth star for sure.

They just opened on Friday and I live in the apartments next door so I am so excited. Went for the first time tonight and got the carne asada fries. The flavor is great but the fries are undercooked so I would ask for them to be well done next time. The owner was running the front and she is super sweet. I am very happy they are here and can’t wait to try more items.

️ Riding past on my F800GS at least 150 times I finally pulled in. But staring at flashing TV menus with a million options left me lost … therefore I went old school and checked the color printouts under the glass.
But dropping 15 bucks on a mystery plate didn’t sound smart … therefore I played it safe with a single $4.70 asada taco. Stacked on their pickled carrots and red peppers, hit it with a drizzle of red sauce, and went to work. ️
But the taco was beefy, bigger than I expected … therefore I’m glad I stopped at one. Next time though, it’s the same Los Alberto’s asada taco with guac underneath, because I felt those chilies burning all the way home and that’s exactly how I like it.

Solid Mexican food restaurant that really has something for everyone. Street tacos, hard tacos and taquitos, all the way to hot Cheeto burritos. I really liked everything I’ve gotten here. Help yourself salsa bar is great, esp for to go. Service is fast and friendly, and parking is always plentiful!

Young short guy at the cashier had the dirtiest hands I’ve ever seen from someone working in food service, old stale over salted Mexican rice. Try to pay cash if you’re brave enough to eat here, they charge 3.99% for card transactions

Early morning, had the best machaca burrito with nopales! Salsa added just the right amount of spice. Made to order & at just under $20 it was about a foot long and enough for two.
