Miruku is hands down my favorite ice cream spot in McKinney. Whenever I think of ice cream, this place is the first that comes to mind because of the creativity and care the owners put into every flavor. Run by a talented Asian couple, they bring a unique twist to ice cream you won’t find at any chain.
Their Berry Berry is one of my go-tos – fresh, fruity, and bursting with flavor. And for chocolate lovers, the Chocolate Madness is an absolute dream and worth every penny.
This is the kind of place that makes you glad to support local — original creations, amazing quality, and a true hidden gem. If you’re nearby (or even if you’re not), it’s worth making the trip!

I come here every once in a while, the quality & service never disappoints. I tried their banana pudding matcha latte (w/ oat milk) for the first time and it’s honestly the best matcha I’ve ever had! It’s not too sweet like how most places make it, and the banana pudding is this fluffy and airy cream they put on top. 10/10!

This place is the BEST!! OMG I gobbled mine down so fast that I didn’t even take a photo. I had the Smores sundae with the salted caramel ice cream and hot fudge. I think the ooey gooey marshmallow is homemade and it’s served warm… mmmmm. So good!! I drove 30 minutes for their salted caramel ice-cream, which they only offer seasonally (Nov). Love this place!!!

I’m so glad my husband and I stumbled upon this gem. We tried their affogato ice cream, and it was SO delicious. You can just tell they use high-quality ingredients and everything is made from scratch! The man and woman running the counter who I think were the shop owners were very kind and quick. The atmosphere was so cute and nice. We will definitely be back to try more!!

This cafe was such a quaint and homely setting, with few but splendid choices. We got an espresso affogato in which the strength of the coffee perfectly balanced out the sweet ice cream, as well as an ice cream with cotton candy placed around the trim of the cup. It was a unique and enjoyed experience without a doubt – we will be back!

Such a cute little gem in downtown McKinney. Local family and everything is made in house. The ice cream is delicious and the brownie sundae is awesome. You definitely need to try this place.

Can we talk about the fact that they make all their ice cream in house and with ORGANIC milk?! It’s delicious and definitely a winner in my book and for my babies. Owners are super sweet, welcoming and their brand and decor are adorable!
I am truly not an ice cream person but Miruku may have just converted me!
