The place is cozy, clean, and easily accessible. I had called ahead to place a take out order, and Janet was very friendly.
Once we arrived there, we decided to stay and have the tacos on-site. It was the best decision because the 4 tacos were crispy, delicious, and satisfied the birria craving. There’s a nominal charge for cheese, but it’s necessary for the ‘gooey’ factor. The consommé was so rich and quite tasty, I asked for a double order, so I wouldn’t run out. The birria tacos cost $19.33 with the double portion of consommé (cash price with taxes). It definitely hit the spot, and we’ll be visiting again soon!
My fav was the birria tacos with consommé. Very flavorful, just wish the portion size was bigger.
Parking is a bit tight so keep that in mind when parking here.
Highly recommend the nachos as well. The menu is a bit pricey though. $14 for 4 small tacos. $11 for the smaller sizes nachos.
But their best thing was the tres Leches cake. So fresh, juicy, milky, mouth watering!! It has become my weekly must have one! ❤️
Good : birria tacos
Ok : Mexican street corn
The fries were actually better than the toppings in my opinion. Will likely order them un-adorned in the future.
The birria and the broth are nice but not as flavorful as I expected. Beef is slightly dryer than the chicken but more flavorful in my opinion.
The street corn is impressively cheese-y but would be better with less cheese and maybe more spices and cilantro (corn is also out of season at this time so it’s hard to know if that decreased the enjoyment as well)
If you are looking for some normal regular tacos that’s fine. It’s a good place for sure. However when you get there, the vibe is not it for sure. The girl at the counter, if you greet her in Spanish, she does not pay attention. She greet’s you in English. It’s not a problem right,
however, if you’re selling tacos, me personally, I expect you to speak Spanish, I mean, it’s Mexican food. Im looking for a little authenticity……
I’m not gonna lie.
Anyways, besides my personal issue, they give you the food. Ok… good..….., the portion is small
. I ordered four tacos for me just personally, it did not give me full at all, when I go to other authentic Mexican restaurants for tacos, I will definitely get full, not here.
I went to McDonald’s literally afterwards. Anyways, they have Cholulah as your sauce ….. So obviously not 100% Mexican it’s Cholula sauce I mean come on.
It’s a an OK place to go if you’re hungry looking for some food not a problem however, if you’re looking for a tasty, tasty 100% authentic Mexican restaurant that will get you full for a nice decent prize, this is not it.
I got three different orders and I paid about 54 /$55.
I was not full, my friend was not full. You know it’s just one of those places that if you’re looking for food,if you’re looking for something right now, it’s good that’s fine but it’s not something I will ever go back to personally thank you.
