Went there on a rainy Saturday night about 6.30pm.
Wait wasn’t too bad, maybe 20 minutes.
Good was nothing special. Chips were very pale, barely looked like they had been fried. Not a whole lot of flavour from the steak, I definitely didn’t get a nice chargrilled taste from it. Clothes stunk of smoke after.

A bit difficult to reach unless you have a car, but the place is great. The steaks are extremely fresh and tasty, the service is quick enough considering the big size and full capacity of the space. Their bread is also very delicious!

It takes 30 mins from Dundee to get here and it was worth it! The barn is wonderful, with a calm and warming atmosphere even once getting a bit busier. The food was fantastic, the onion rings crunchy and cooked well. We had burgers and the meat was soft and moist but so moist the bread broke apart. That doesn’t stop it being really tasty but it does mean, if you are a messy eater you don’t go wearing light colours!

Utterly brilliant! Came here due to great recommendations, not disappointed. Staff very helpful, food cooked to perfection. Loved the rusticity of the barn, great music too ! We enjoyed a rump steak and the full house burger, extra onion rings & slaw. Thanks to all for making it a lovely experience.

Absolutely incredible steak but sadly let down by the service. Staff were just stood around talking which is a shame when your paying a lot of money for a nice meal out.
Very yummy starter of squid and a sirloin steak for mean course. Highly recommend getting the peppercorn sauce – delicious!

After reading lots of good reviews went in here for dinner while up working at the old course hotel. Instead of slating them I’ll be honest, ordered a ribeye-medium and added the grilled tomatoes portobello mushrooms and onion rings, whilst everything else was great the steak was meant to be medium and came out well done, as a bit of a steak connoisseur this was disappointing. On the whole the place is nice with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Maybe I’ll give them a second shot one day, I’ll be asking for it rare next time.

Fantastic steak, 10/10. We shared a chateaubriand and chicken kebab, couldn’t recommend highly enough! An outdoor barn but still feels quite cosy. Service excellent too. My favourite place to dine in St Andrews.

I make the hour plus drive to get here from Falkirk whenever I can, it’s THAT good! I’ve never had a steak that tastes this good anywhere else! Love the setting, relaxed and informal. The homemade iced tea is a must, and the sell it by the pint! Really love it here.
