Really great pizza and service here. Check FB for their weekly special. Very worth the pleasant drive through the country to this hidden spot. It is small and tidy, but the quality is way beyond what you get at normal pizza joints. Just had the Jerk pizza special and it was fantastic! We will be back!

Pretty solid pizza, great attention to detail. We got a standard pepperoni to try the place out, dough tasted great, perfect moisture level, the sprinkle of fresh basil was a fantastic surprise. Best pizza I’ve had in years.

Angelo’s pizza is by far the best I’ve had in some time! No doubt the best pizza in the Rocky Mount area! Angelo’s is a traditional pizza shop, this means a couple of things…
– this isn’t a dine in restaurant. You can dine it but it is small and set up more for take out orders or grab a slice and go.
– it is cash only!
These are not knocks against the shop, it is what it is!
Now, for the pizza! The pizza is the freshest I’ve ever had! Every single ingredient was as fresh as it gets! I’ll admit, it wasn’t my favorite style of pizza, I prefer thin, crispy, and with a lot of char. Angelo’s pizza is a little more doughy than my liking but the dough was top notch! He also has very creative pizza specials.
Long story short, if you like pizza, try Angelo’s, and if you don’t like pizza, try Angelo’s!
