I went on taco Tuesday after hearing that this is the best taqueria in the district of Columbia. Tacos were $ 1.75. They offer street tacos which are smaller but ,I think better because you’re eating with your hands. I ordered 2 carne al pastor and 2 carne asada tacos with onion and cilantro.They looked and smelled so GOOD I scarfed 1 taco before taking a picture. This is the first taqueriaI found in DC who gave me the right salsas hot&mild without having to ask and radishes plus they threw in 2 grilled green onions which hit the spot.They were the best tacos I’ve had in DC including the salsa which was also the best most authentic in town I’ve had so far. 5☆☆☆☆☆s .

Food here is amazing! Came for their taco Tuesday and only intended to get 3 tacos but I ended up getting 5 lol I then came back for the caldo de pollo and it also was very tasty! After living in DC for 8 years, I finally found authentic Mexican food here.

Today I had flautas and they were really good! It came with 5 plus rice and beans. Ive had the pozole and menudo here before and they were good, close to authentic.

I’ve been to the other locations and tried this Washington location and it will be my go to for Taco Tuesday!!! Outside of parking which can be a bear, the overall experience was awesome. Even for the $1.75 tacos, they didn’t skimp on the meat like other stores. The service was amazing and they tried to be so supportive going so far as to help me move all the tacos and accompaniments to my car. They were so friendly and helpful.

We ordered a variety of tacos and a Gordita. The cabeza was squishy and without flavor, but the lengua was much worse. I’ve never met a lengua taco I didn’t like, but these actually made my husband sick for almost two days. The meat tasted like it had been cooked, thawed, and then reheated. The texture wasn’t like normal lengua that I’ve had and there was no seasoning. Some of it was cold. Something was just not right. The birria was decent but not full of flavor like I’m accustomed to. Not sure if it was just an off day, but I wouldn’t recommend or eat here again.

This was my first time gong to their DC location, I have been to their MD location prior.
I will say their tacos do not disappoint! I had Al Pastor and Cabeza and it has been one of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be going there again now that they have a location close to my job.

Best authentic tacos in dc hands down. Horchata is some of the best I’ve had. Birria tacos were to die for quite literally. Gatekeeping this spot for now… their desserts look so good as well but i haven’t tried them yet.
