I’ve been visiting taquerias around this area for over 30 years — from Tacos El Autlense, to Gordo’s, Masa Taqueria, Sinaloa and many others — and this spot has quickly become my new favorite. Prices are very reasonable for a brick-and-mortar, and the young gentleman at the counter provided outstanding customer service. I ordered 3 street carne asada tacos and 3 chicken tacos, and instead of jalapeños he offered me Chiles Toreados — absolutely delicious. The hot sauce was truly hot, and they even included 2 bags of tortilla chips, which most places charge extra for. My wife was amazed by the flavor when I brought them home. We’ll definitely be eating here often!

I’m really disappointed writing this because I usually love this place and come here weekly. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a completely different experience.
I stopped in to pick up 2 burritos and ended up waiting 40/45 minutes. There were only three of us waiting in person (no online orders) and service was painfully slow.
After the first order finally came out, I saw the cook take a phone call and step away for about 10 minutes. When he returned, he slowly prepared one item for another guest before eventually getting to mine. The wait and lack of urgency were really disappointing.
I’m genuinely sad because this has always been one of my favorite spots, but this experience has made me hesitant to come back. I hope this was just an off day and that improvements are made. I didn’t recognize either of the 2 staff so maybe they were new.

I’ve gotten a burrito from here 4 times now and 3 out of those four times, it wasn’t for me! It was just convenient! I will say though, they have upped their game because the food was super good this time around? New cook? New recipes? Fresh when I ordered?!? Idk but whatever it was, I was a fan. Drinks have always been on point!

Small footprint hides big flavor. Meat is juicy, veggies are fresh and tasty, chips are flavorful without being too salty. Go classic or find delightful surprises that put a little spin on classic items; absolutely loving my California burrito with French fries inside! A definite visit if you’re in the area.

First time at this place yesterday, ordered two fish tacos. A little pricey at $7 per taco, but they were bigger than most fish tacos. The fish content was overwhelmed by carrots (?) and other filler.
Only two pieces of lime, not enough.
The green salsa was okay, the pico de gallo didn’t seem fresh.
Since it’s close by, I’ll go back and try a burrito.

The burritos are delicious. The cashier gave us a bunch of extra salsas to try. We live close by and will definitely visit this place again!

I was happy to hear that we had a Taqueria around El Cerrito, but last night when we finally had the chance to go by and grab some Super Carne Asada Burritos was one of the worst burrito we ever had, first of all, the meat was super salty, most of the burrito meat was gristle (nervio), Yuck! and there were 2 little pieces of avocado. I would not recommend this place and not worthy paying $30 per 2 burritos. Not going back there.

A relatively new edition to El Cerrito Plaza, still finding it’s footing, but doing so well. Friendly, helpful staff, and a great menu full of unique items, meals, and drinks. It’s definitely worth a visit.
